Malla is his childhood friend. Have you forgotten smiley36

I think Vikrant is just still in grief mode and his dialogues just depend in which grief mode we find him on the day. When he was holding Mannat's photo he was angry and his words for her were mean smiley36

Vikrant seems to have become a BdB for everyone now. He takes his i'm a good guy image pretty seriously. Aish knows him well and was full of praises of him in the episode.

Vikrant has kind of had it easy. The truth is presented to him. He becomes judge and jury and the matter is over. This time i hope they extend the period between him realising his mistakes and him actually being forgiven. It may help him reflect more and change how he handles situations.

At least Vikrant’s stupidity is out in the open and laced with his anger and hurt from the people he loved truly as well as manipulation and lies of evil people surrounded him.

I don’t mind if DK dies seriously😡. Let him be Mahaan for once and let live these people peacefully 😈. I will never have any sympathy for him because he is responsible for Shruti’s death 🤬. If only he would’ve done his duty properly then Mannat wouldn’t have lost the most important person of her life😭🤬

I didn’t want to watch episode but as such it’s a first day of New year so decided to watch.

Adnan was just fab throughout but specially when he was watching that Audition video. I cried in that scene only because of Adnan😢👏👏🧿. Simply emotionally beautiful that whole sequence was😭❤️.

As such I am busy with my friends. They came from US so spending time with them. So not much time to watch episodes or comments.

Thanks for tagging me.

As per every male in the show, he has a grand career and position in the PF but agree other than in the opening scenes he has failed in his basic duties. But that’s to enable plots to play out 🤣

His character is to cause obstacles for Vikrant, unintentionally with Mannat first but now also with Dua, but I’m hoping that they will not turn him grey. I still love his bond with Mannat, with RoTu and Dua (and bade bhaiya to Vik). He regards Dua his ‘beti’, but there is a difference in he spoils her rotten, very much like a beloved mama or chaccha or grandfather does, rather than a father who disciplines and draws strict boundaries for their children. He may hold Vikrant at a distance or to account if Vik does let his daughter down, but rightly so. In today’s episode the chat with Mannat, I felt he was wanting Mannat to see Vik’s pov on his anger when he was lied to, the same that she felt because Dua and others had lied to her.

Writers flipped Malla, but quite early on, not sure what they intend with DK. But the great positive is Mannat has another person to share her inner thoughts and be given sound advice, which Vik desperately needs but is missing and therefore in the mess he is in.

Bold- Don't get me wrong but DK indeed failed as big bro🤬

Why he came to Mumbai and SM? And first of all why he became cop? To find his own baby bro right? But when he found out what he did?

First He put onus on Mannat to tell the truth and that's what it leads to this disaster in ManVik's life🤬. Then again they all decided to hide truth from him and that was the final nail in the coffin😡

See he always tells Mannat that I will do this and I will do that but when time comes he just becomes imbecile 🤬.

As long as I remember he told Mannat that he will talk to Vikrant but I didn't see anything on that front 🤬

And I would've love to see him giving some sane advice to his bro not to his wife. And most importantly he should've put some leash on Vish for whatever she did but no in fact he gave her free rein to ruin his brother's life🤬.

Even I didn't understand Mannat why she was so angry at Dua? I didn't feel that DK was trying to tell Mannat about Vikrant. He was clearly talking about Dua only.

Seriously I mean Mannat is feeling so hurt that they lied to her regarding Competition.

When they all lied to Vikrant about truth which completely turned his life upside down and even his whole existence. How this is different?

Lie is a lie and hurt cause by it is infact same. Specially when it comes from the people whom you trust alot and they hurt you by their lies and actions😭

In my opinion DK is not the bad guy in all this. Vikrant is his own nemesis and does not need anyone else to spoil things beyond redemption.

DK did try many times to resolve things but Vikrant had a jaundiced eye where it concerned DK and always looked at him with suspicion all the more so since from just a couple of innocent pics he concluded that his bro was cheating on him with his gf and wife!!!

So how do you expect DK to clear the mess when Vikrant has already decided and has pronounced all and sundry guilty without even a trial!

Now to change the topic completely, very choppy editing indeed. Did you notice how hilariously Aishwarya aka Arzoo's white hair patch kept coming and going during the horrible 3 witches scene? She had removed the patch and put it on the bed but in long shots and also in a split-second shot where she was twirling her darling daughter, it kept coming back on her hair!! I found it so hilarious! They really must be more careful in editing!

I can understand why Mannat was so upset.

One is that they all lied to her. Now exactly why this was brought in was to show Mannat a mirror. Even her asking Dua a guarantee of her results .. made Dua angry for asking proof.

Two .. she was totally triggered by Dua’s mention of Mumbai. I think that is pretty obvious. She has had a traumatic experience in Mumbai. Even thinking back gives her a panic attack.

For me Mannat has changed from being this naive girl in love to a vulnerable mother, taking care of an entire household.. unwell parents.

Vikrant is also affected as we can see very clearly. He does not know at all that he has been manipulated by multiple people. And he had added Yashika to the mix himself !!

I saw a lot of mentions about how can Mannat presume he is in a relationship and has a child. Vikrant himself has admitted he has tried to move on with Y.
She is presuming what is true. He is in a relationship. How will she know if he has been able to move on or not.

Both are trying in their own way to cope. Both are miserable as we are shown repeatedly.

I think they have all made mistakes. The sach gang did lie but the reaction by Vikrant to the lie sort of took the matter to another level. He threw his parents out of the house, left them penniless and didn't even care where they landed (granted he did think of them as murderers). Now added to that the lie by Malla that he didn't want anything to do with the baby and wanted a divorce when you add those two together it's hard to differentiate him from Vishakha. Vikrant virtually left his family on the streets. In all this blame game about the lie i wonder if it has really sunk in what he did.

RoTu and Mannat who have known Vikrant the longest also believed he turned his back on all of them, would DK still go to him and try and reason with him? What would have been the point?

I'm no fan of DK but given the information on hand at the time i think he did the best he could.

The plan that Aish executed left everyone with a piece of the blame. That was the only way to ensure none of them tried to patch up.

What's hard to swallow as a viewer is we know all these problems arose because of DK. I think when the truth finally comes out he is going to realise that his one act of sending Aish to hospital created this whole mess (at least i hope). He did turn saviour in a situation he created unknowingly but he is going to lose anyway when Vikrant comes back in the picture. The good people seem to pay for their sins. They should make him pay for being blackmailed and sending Aish to hospital and even failing to realise he used blanks in his gun (remembering this makes me mad)

Few thoughts: DK and Mannat scenes establish the comfort, care, and mutual respect they share. Over the years, they have lived as a family, sharing responsibilities and understanding each others strengths and weaknesses. For both of them, Dua is everything, and they have jointly handled her upbringing. From Mannat’s perspective, Vik pushed her to such an extent that Shruti’s death and his rejection of the baby forced her to become strong and self-reliant. Because of this, she no longer wants Vik’s presence in her or Dua’s life. She has accepted her fate and does not want Dua to go through the emotional confusion of questioning her real father. Mannat believes that Vik rejected the baby and has now moved on with his own family, and she has made peace with that decision. Her only priority is to keep her child’s life simple and stable. Mannat understands how much DK means to Dua and remains deeply grateful to him for standing by her during the darkest phase of her life, when she lost her mother, the father of her child rejected the baby, and divorce papers were sent during Shruti’s funeral, marking the end of their relationship. She is unaware that Vik was manipulated and has no idea that he did not know about the baby or the divorce. Throughout everything, DK has been her constant support and has never crossed his boundaries with her. She believes that if Dua had grown up in Mumbai, she would not have had a happy or secure life due to Malla, Vish, and the overall environment there. From my perspective, even after learning the truth, Vik never truly accepted DK as his brother. Instead, he associated DK with his wife, which effectively ended their relationship from both sides. With that, Mannat’s connection to DK through Vik was already buried after the allegations. Despite knowing that Vik does not want to speak to him, DK still tried to intervene during the funeral when Vish once again played her manipulative games. As usual, Vik chose to trust his mother and immediately believed that DK had pushed Vish, causing her forehead injury. DK had earlier warned Vik about Vish’s manipulations and her mistreatment of Dadi, but Vik ignored him. DK also made it clear that if Neetu will go to jail, Vish would face consequences too for Dadi mishap, yet Vik imposed conditions and ultimately protected Vish. Mannat has witnessed DK’s goodness, a man who did everything within his capacity to protect his brother. But when someone refuses to see the truth, there is little more that can be done. She saw a man who protected Vik’s parents gave them shelter, shielded her child from name-calling, and made personal sacrifices to give her and Dua a sense of happiness and stable life that’s why Mannat considers DK a good human. However, this does not mean she has fallen for him. She simply values the fact that he stood by her and Dua selflessly, without questioning or doubting them. In contrast, Vik consistently demanded proof and lacked trust in Mannat’s decisions and judgment. As per Ayesha’s recent IT, Mannat no longer thinks about Vik due to the struggles and responsibilities in her own life. Only when Dua does something reminiscent of Vik does she briefly remember him. Otherwise, she has moved on emotionally and grown stronger. Having lived her entire life in a chawl with Harneet, Shruti, and the support of the local community, adapting to a blended family from different worlds is not new to her. In contrast, Vik appears to have consciously moved on with Yashika. He seems comfortable with her closeness, allowing emotional intimacy, physical care, and her involvement in family and professional spaces. She remains constantly around him. From the audience’s perspective, however, Mannat has not moved on with another man. Instead, she continues to fulfil her responsibilities towards the people around her. Although DK is by her side, she has never allowed him to cross boundaries, which is evident in their interactions. After returning from Mumbai, Mannat emerges even stronger. Seeing Vik move on, she buries her remaining feelings deep within and genuinely wishes him well. This reflects her selfless and giving nature in the relationship. However, Vik is likely to once again misunderstand the situation after meeting Mannat and Dua, leading to more accusations. This will further highlight the difference between Vik and DK and push Mannat from Vik in every possible way till we get some parts if truth out to change the dynamics in current relationships on both sides.

The story has now become a web of lies. Rotu Initiated it by making Aman Vikrant. Ars right fron her name is a living lie. She also got Malla type casted in her mould as a thorough liar. Vishaka has been lying to All. The accident rhe usurping of Aman was the beginning and later it only grew in magnitude. Surrounded by the web of lies Vikrant is now living a lie. He pretends to be happy has created a world of make believe where he can't even voice his angst and wallows is solitude.

Mannat ans DCP have allowed people to assume they are a couple but they discuss matters with other. DCP has been the much needed sounding bo for Mannat. Ronnie and DCP immediately sense something has happened in Mumbai to trigger the reaction in Mannat.

Dcp clearly points out rhat Mannat is venting her anger on Dua ans that Vikrant is the cause.
