Anupama exposes Ishaani’s crime before the Chawl residents, Bharti, Rajni and Varun. Sarita Tayi accuses Ishaani n per mother of wrongly accusing her of theft and were ready to hand her to police . Now Sarita demands they hand over Ishaani to police . All are in agreement . Pakhi and Ishaani plead guilty n beg forgiveness n vouch they will never repeat this ever again. Anupama gives long moral lecture and expresses her frustrations for having such children n grandchildren.

Baa and Babuji share Anupama’s grief . Rajni and Varun help Anupama put aside the incident n get on with the wedding celebrations. Rajni and Bharti are happy that the wedding Shagun jewellery have been found and this is auspicious sign. Later Rajni tries to get Anupama’s signature or Thumb impression but fails .

Khyati and Moti baa invite Anupama and shah family to Prarthana’s god bharayi reluctantly , just for Pra’s happiness, they taunt and humiliate Shah family n Anupama during invitation .

Prem and Rahi have been asked by Varun to help him in wedding costume selection. Rahi and Prem are about to notice the legal document concerning the chawl , but Rajni prevents it . Rajni then invites Rahi for tea , they have a small chat together , she gifts her a bracelet , misses her daughter n shares her loneliness with Rahi . Rahi who had an opinion regarding politicians begins to think of Rajni differently .
Anupama dresses up as Santa Clause and celebrates Christmas with chawl residents . They have much fun masti .
Anupama meets Prerna, and is surprised to know she is a great fan of hers from Super Chef show times. Anupama is happy to meet an old fan. Anupama and Chawl members enjoy singing and dancing together and sharing refreshments and cakes on Christmas.

Rahi and Prerna collide in their race to get the first gift from Anupama, on Christmas celebrations, dressed up as Santa clause. Prerna declares her self the winner after pushing Rahi away and states she will always acquire whatever she fancies and then eyes Prem

Shahs ke beauty products ke chalte, Mita ka parlour band ho raha hn aur lab grown diamonds ke chalte Kotharis ka diamonds, gemstones, jewellery ka business!

Aur khandaani businessman (meaning who have been in business for ages) ne aaj tak trends ko follow aur monitor kiya hi nahin, aise hi business badhaya unhone. Trends toh Shahs ne set kiya hn.

Absolutely despicable.

Hence proved beyond doubt, any person worth his salt, who comes in contact with Anupama, is bound to lose his mind, business, empire and sanity and be displaced to the streets. Anupama then comes as saviour but on one condition they are bound to Serve the even more despicable Shahs. Others fall as collateral damage in their animosity with Onupama, example: Anupamaa ki Rasoi folks, Manohar ji's Dance Classes and now, the Chawlmates.

Example: Anuj Kapadia, Malati Devi, Dhillons (Spice and Chutney), Asa Ben and now Kotharis.

Moral of the story: Stay as far away from Onupama and Shahs as possible.

Vasundhara wanting the child to be raised as a Kothari in Kothari Mansion in ALL certainty appears to be a consequence of the Anmol ratna Shahs and Onupama have raised starting with Vanraj who first ran an extramaritalaffair illtreated his wife, Paritosh, Pakhi, Ishaani, Maahi, the confused in life Anss and Pari.

Not that there are any better children in Kotharis but atleast they are spared the criminal tendencies.
