Oh I love supernatural shows. But knowing Ekta and her team had a knack for making a regular show seem like a horror show, I didn’t have the courage to go for a show which is intended to be supernatural. Because I didn’t want her to ruin that genre for me as well

I mean I grew up watching Ssshh Koi Hai, Aahat, Zee Horror Show. Their theme music itself was so creepy and scary it could give you nightmares, and I wanted to preserve the memory of knowing horror is meant to be scary not cringe or worse, comic

Actually Ekta/colors’ Naagin isn’t a horror genre. The genre is supernatural/suspense/drama/romance. I never felt scared when watching any of naagin seasons that I have watched. I felt more creeped out and scared when Aparna killed Anurag and would sing that creepy song Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh

It’s not my cup of tea though. My brain can only handle one Indian daily at a time to get fried and this time I have picked Kyunki as my poison
