Jealousy is part of a filmindustry (whichever) as it is a competitive field...so nothing special here... just the longevity of certain grudges are remarkable (Darr happened 32 years ago...) and making them resurface...

That's why Aamir Khan wants joint narration so that others don't complain later. He asked for it in Darr with Sunny Deol but Yash Chopra refused. So Aamir opted out i read.

But SRK made negative characters popular...darr, baazigar, anjaam etc.

That's a narrative peddled by Aamir... could you really imagine Aamir as Rahul in Darr?

But joint narration before the actors sign gets every one on page and there will be no doubts I feel.

A joint narration doesn't say much about the outcome, just about the roles... the screen time can get changed during shooting/editing...so, the final product can very much differ from the initial narration/reading

In Darr, SRK definitely got more screen-presence (Yash ji admitted that he even gave additional scenes to SRK to make his role stronger ...he really was smitten by how SRK enacted the character).

You're right, I could ignore the thread... I didn't mean to "lecture" you... it was that I was wondering why exactly you brought up this Darr-Sunny Deol topic... what was the 'trigger'?
