@Scar thank you for the update and thoughts. Moor, Daman, Kidult Taiyo and others have shared post leap relationships so well, just a few thoughts on Vik from me.
Mannat and Dua💕 I guess this one is before she leaves for Mumbai.
Vik has too many lessons to learn! He needs to stay wealthy to eventually see through M/V’s manipulation, coveting his money for their own greedy lifestyle. And wealth doesn’t automatically provide a good upbringing to a child.
And eventually see, Mannat must have struggled very much but provided a loving balanced upbringing for their daughter, who also has her mother’s drive and ambition to stand on her own two feet and succeed in life. And Mannat took responsibility and cared for Vikrant’s very ill mother, who, other with all of them he made homeless & penniless 😭
Operative word being eventually 😂
Mark my words just like how we get frustrated with the way writers treat Vikrant's character, we are soon going to be frustrated with the way they treat Mannat's character 🙈
I want to see it, but I am also not expecting Mannat to hold the fort of hurt for too long. Yes, the two are separated. Yes, there is their daughter, who the man knows nothing about. But, the BIG secret in this show is Shruti's murder. All these are smaller conflicts in front of that. So, if makers want Mannat to get a whiff of that, I think these two might attain some understanding soon, not complete truce probably.

- It’s curious why Vik seems to feel so much anger and the victim, thinking Mannat has caused the situation he is in. There are still unshown parts before the leap & his bedroom scene which account for Vik’s anger and pov, V/M may have handed him the signed divorce papers and/or he goes to Mannat but sees her with packed bags leaving with DK, as per V/M’s version. So Vik feels Mannat abandoned him choosing DK over him, if he had any doubts of his CA, his allegations were reinforced. In his anger Vik caused DK a blemish on his police reputation too going by Ayesha’s iv 😱
- Vik may have spiralled lost in his anger and abandonment until Malla returned with the baby and pushed him into having some feelings for the baby. It’s clear Vik hasn’t adopted Yuvi nor does Yuvi call and regard him as his father. Yuvi has a distinct lack of a good upbringing, no manners or morals, no affection from M (not sure even understands that’s his mother) nor V and see Vik as his male ‘role model’ buddy who gives in to all his tantrums with lavish gifts. Vik doesn’t discipline him, half heartedly tries to instil and good values but easily gives in to the boys tantrums. It seems Vik gives in to all around him now. The loving care giving of Yuvi is not shown, e.g bath times, night time routine, reading bedtime story, teaching to cook, so creators not showing any deep & meaningful bond with Vik. Vik’s outlet to show any emotion and ‘love’ is to the boy, the others around him he holds no feelings for. But the ‘bond’ between the two is very superficial, Vik attempting to fill the void left by Mannat and RoTu, Yuvi as the fulfiller of his brat tantrums.
- Yashikha probably pulled Vik out of his spiral and at least back into business and so Vik considers her a good friend and ‘emotional support’. She knew about the song so knows his (version of) past . He clearly has no romantic feelings for Y but hasn’t made that clear to her. In his mind Mannat left him for someone else. It’s symbolic Vik’s bedroom is exactly as it was 7 yrs ago, nothing has changed physically nor emotionally he is still stuck there. His dream of Mannat was telling…they were separate, he was hurt and alone (even though she tried to make him smile) rather than Mannat’s dream of them both adoringly happy together (Mannat doesn’t resent him for leaving her at the altar , it’s resentment for abandoning their baby).
Vik is not actively trying to move on, but neither is he putting a stop to Y’s advances, whatever emotional intelligence and radars he had have shut down after Mannat left.- In comparison to Mannat’s setup in Indore where she has very sound emotional support and understanding from DK and R, Vik is left alone to cope with his emotional crisis and no-one to support and rational his feelings nor advise him to see a different perspective, M/V/Y ready to manipulate him for their own purposes. I mentioned before, sometimes when an argument festers on you forget the root cause, just remember your feelings - Vik only feels pain that Mannat betrayed him for another man and turned her back on their love. He is angry, sees himself as the victim, and wants her to feel the same pain she ‘left’ him in.
- So when Vik meets Mannat again, his feelings at her perceived betrayal will reignite 😢 we know it’s was manipulation of his weak mind and character but he doesn’t.
Why does grown up brat think always he is the victim? Bcos he was over loved & over indulged by Neetu?
In his state, it is his way or the highway. Even in the beginning he had no ability to judge people & that hasn’t changed one bit even today.
How can you live around so much poison and not see through it?
If Adnan wasn’t playing the role,I doubt many would side Vikrant’s flaws. And this complete lack of growth in him is very frustrating. Age & life matures & changes us-excluding him.
There are days I want to truly wallop him on his obtuse head
Why do get the feeling that Dua will demand proof from Vikrant that she is indeed his daughter ... when he learns the truth and comes to claim her.

I want Dua to torture Vikrant since I don't expect Mannat is capable of doing this. Even if she plans to I can see RoTu and DK siding with Vikrant

Dua's mother should torture him first, followed by his daughter 😂. RoTu will for sure side with Vikrant, DK too, as he does have a soft corner for his little brother.
I would love to see him tortured by Bunty as well 😂 ... he is such fun character.
