That storyline has been put on hold for sometime. They are testing the waters with abhir kiara marriage as they are hopeful that marriage tracks bring trps in yeh rishta. If this doesn't work then that fellowship track and separation of Armaan and abhira. Usme cameos aayenge.
Star Station bhi bol raha tha that theyâll bring many tracks in order to raise TRP. They will only bring a gen leap once they exhaust everything.

My estimation is that Gen leap will not happen till trps come in range of 1.5-1.6 or losing slot leader position for consecutive week. Then only star will send notice. One good news is that show again lost slot leader position this week. Vasudha looks very trp oriented show. So hopefully it should beat yeh rishta again for atleast next 2 weeks. Phir Gen leap pakka.
