OMG OMG I am excited

Looks like, they are promoting it as a fresh chapter, a new season. With show's TRP stuck at 1.2 even after extreme negativity, I hope they think something positive to take the show forward. (I have less hope, but I am sure they are writing revelation of at least one character; whenever Mannat has planned and trapped (especially) Malla or hit back at a character, the TRPs have increased).

Indian TV shows can't tell the story they originally intend to tell, thanks to TRPs. I doubt creatives like to butcher the show that they started with so much hope.

So question on Vikrant keeping the Vikrant Saluja name. Can he just drop that name and walk into the Aman Kumar name?

I'm just wondering if this is all coming from a selfish perspective or really considering all the illegalities and crimes surrounding his identity it's just all a big mess one would want to just prefer to keep buried?

Just a question from the comments i have seen that keep questioning why he has kept the Vikrant Saluja name. He has had that name since he was 5yrs. How to pick up an identity that was abandoned at that same age.

Not defending Vikrant and just talking about his characterization and what I understand of him based on Adnan's acting 🙈

I think he identifies as Vikrant Saluja which is difficult to let go considering he lived as Vikrant through his adulthood.

For Vikrant the main problem is the elephant in the room "trust" like we have discussed for a zillion pages so won't go deep .

He believed Vish her stories, he believed Malla and her stories and now he is stuck with them where he may be feeling an identity crisis and everyone is taking advantage of him. He might feel suffocated but he has no escape route.

I was telling this to Shazia the other day, I always felt Vikrant though he doesn't remember his childhood much, I think somewhere the trauma is still there though hidden and these come out as his character traits. One such character trait being his trust and abandonment issues especially with Mannat and everyone seems to have understood this and took advantage.

So my assessment (like I am a psychologist ) is he has issues hidden deep in his head and all the drugging, RoTu, especially Neetu EB him at every step has definitely left a long lasting impact on him.

From all the ivs till now i have gathered is post leap mannat and vikrant as characters will be on different pages and will have different priorities, thats why adnan and ayesha have different opinions. For mannat, it will be all about vengenance for shruti's murder and for vikrant, it will be about redemption and getting his family back. These two tracks will be interlinked because truths will be exposed one by one and mus will keep getting cleared. Both mannat and vikrant have different goals but their paths will be same.

What i have noticed is, our leap is kind of different from other shows. In other shows, leap happens due to some arguement or mu or some incident which gets resolved quickly post leap. Here there are multiple unresolved issues are lined up and biggest is Shruti's murder. Each of these issues will have separate tracks.

The biggest central point will be dua.

The phase after Vimal marriage was entertaining trackwise for me. It was Mannat's turn to restore order which is kind of where we will be at when the leap starts. That time as well there was question of whether show was going off air or would get a different timeslot. We got served some entertaining 40min episodes. I'm anticipating the start will be great since we will be in the phase of truth coming out to Mannat followed by her getting justice for Shruti. Disaster may strike afterwards.
