Vik was completely destroyed after the revelation. What we see after that is basically Aman, operating from Vish’s perspective. He is no longer the same person who applies logic or understands pain. He is filled with hatred, and when Mannat moved out of his life, his thinking froze there and these witches started operating him, so why would he doubt their intentions especially when one of them is his mother..In his mind, she is the only real one, and he is still unaware of all the crimes she has committed so far along with Malla and Aish. Mannat will bring the truth out once she discovers that this is not Vik’s child, but Malla’s with someone else. She knows Malla never liked kids, and that thought itself will plant doubts in her mind. Malla did this at Aish’s insistence, as both of them want to enjoy a luxurious life through Vik. Otherwise, the makers have already shown that Malla was not okay with this plan initially, which is why this will backfire on her. I am not sure which route the makers will take either abducting the baby from the hospital or dealing through a family but both ways involve trafficking, which is a very serious crime. The reason writers are recreating this scenario is to complete the story circle. It’s their storytelling pattern to draw contrasts. We saw how Rotu was punished especially Neetu, who went to jail for a crime she never committed. This is meant to create a contrast between Malla and Mannat. Vik equated Malla’s love as great and believed she was loyal to him. Creating these parallels is necessary to give closure to the track. Ayesha also mentioned in her IV that it’s a new storyline with old connections the chapter is closed, not ended. Lastly, Malla and Aish must have obtained the child through money, and this will lead to destruction, because Rotu’s side of the story is still not fully revealed. With this track, that circle will be closed as well. Eventually, Vik will have to realise how wrong he was in Rotu’s case rejecting them as parents, taking whole property, and living a king-size life as a Saluja while Rotu continues to suffer. I also feel that Neetu might go into shock post-leap, with Ronnie taking care of her, which will push Vik into even more guilt. If the child turns out to be an orphan and Vik gets emotionally attached, he may adopt the child later, depending on whether the biological parents are no longer alive..
