GK already fanbase tha but not as big I believe. Besides maintaining a fanbase matters a lot too.
This season I was most excited to watch Amaal cz unlike others I was his fan from before BB. Last season I liked Vivian before BB , I liked Sid in his season before BB. But things change once you their personalities unravel on BB. Some loss fans and some are able to garner more fans along the way.
And it can never be predicted if one contestant's fans vote for another contestant. Appeals dont automatically translate into votes. It happens if people hv appreciated the bond between two contestants .

If Bajaj, Basheer, Ashnoor, Mridul koi bhi evict nahi hue hote tab bhi if we look at the votes through out the season,GK would have been in top 5...(no...I am not going to underestimate him now)

Yup. Dusre fandoms help kar skte hain but agar itni shiddat se karte hote toh would have worked wonders for some other contestants too, you need your own fandom to win at the end of the day. GK ka itna bada fanbase nahi hoga yaar show se phle, uska wo Anuj Kapadia wala character famous tha but then again it’s a female centric show, I won’t deny that he had a fanbase to rely back on but so did some other contestants like Baseer, with his MTV fanbase still he was unable to beat Pranit even. Toh how you play matters a lot too, and yes aap ek pre conceived notion bana skte ho for a contestant based on their work, for example, I loved Rashmi as an actress in Uttaran, but I connected with Sid more on the show. Toh aisa nahi hai ki aap kisi contestant ko uske tv show character ke hisab se pasand kar re ho, apko unki personality bhi achi lagni chaie tbi aap unhe support kar paoge. And kuch underdogs toh hote hi hain jo during the course of the show fans bana lete hain, so blaming the makers ain’t gonna help, you gotta play a game strong enough to retain that popularity too, because I think start mei shayad sab ko hi equal level playing field milti hai.Originally posted by: WhtsinAname

Honestly downright desperate lag rhi hai. Nothing one says changes the fact that GK will be known as the Winner of this season. Uske baad jo aisa bole uski soch kitni choti hai pta chal jaata hai.
What the hell is she is talking abt that GK is arrongant and demeaned people ? Khud ke statements yaad nai where she said she would never work in TV cz its too small fr her ? Isnt dt arrogance ? The number of verbal abuses this girl has thrown around ...were those meant to worship people ?
