The Hungama series, Taal, Humraaz, Race 1, DCH, Akshaye Khanna has always shone the best in multistarrers, he always overshadowed the main guys, and this trend continues.

Next is Drishyam 3, I hope he's retained in the cast.

was he in Hungama 2 too? have not seen it yet.

Also, there is one underrated movie of him-n Deewangi in which he competed with Ajay Devgan. Brilliant performance!

Naqaab could be another hit movie if its script was well. But l liked his dance and expression from this song:

Hyper masculinity - Where?

I don't think any character was hyper masculine maybe....Sanjay Dutt?...but even the villain Rahman Dakait was slapped by his wife in front of everyone and he doesn't do anything

Like the complaint people had regarding Chhava of villain being one tone, even that wasn't the case here, Rahman was a good person fighting for his community but power corrupted him and he betrayed his people

There were layers to his character

From Ranveer to Madhavan, everyone was vulnerable, helpless
