People can say whatever they want about Animal as a film, but when it released and became a genuine Blockbuster, there was ZERO news or reporting about self-bookings/corporate bookings/inflated numbers.

Just came back from watching the movie in a packed theatre!

What a movie! This is how a real spy movie is made! And the acting! Ranveer Singh - so talented, Akshaye Khanna take a bow and Arjun Rampal is fab as well!

Can’t wait for March!

I will look at how Pt 2 performs since this was more ground and world building for the sequel. This part even getting close to 200-250crores is a huge win cause post that Pt 2 earnings are just going to be excess profits.
In all this is going to be a very profitable venture and the strategy to shoot both parts together and release them 4 months apart may end up being a masterstroke cause when Pt 2 is out is when most would have seen it on OTT and hype will be high. Like I said, all it needs is to get that Eid date free of clash.
P.S. It is funny seeing even BoI is slowly backtracking after throwing random numbers like 30 percent inflation when they had no way of truly knowing that, now they are claiming they themselves do not know what is real or not, so who can even believe them.

Exactly, we know the movies that have been called out by many actual trade analysts for very high inflations and corporate bookings, but this BOI stayed completely quiete about those films, and we know why.

As i said, BOI has always been very negative in their tone and langauge towards ranveer, never giving him credit for any of his films, always trying to find something to drag his films down

Anyway, super happy for the team and Ranveer! Dhurandhar is a movie to be proud of!

I am happy that despite of the clear agenda of destroying the film before the release and desperate attempt of writing off the film even before its release , the movie goers liked it and just because of the WOM ,it gradually gaining the audience. Though the so called expert critics tried to focus on the negative side of the movie like the length , the reviews of less accomplished reviewers across india were mostly positive. I have noticed that Box office India follow the trend of belittling Ranveer's presence always,if the movie works there will be sentences like "this movie would have worked even with a new comer, or the lead actress stardom were the main reason " That said corporate booking could be the reason the movie got a push in box office and helped it to overcome the initial dull booking .

I really don't care about the practices here, I am glad that Ranveer has got some inspiration to be in the industry.

Bollywood fans are like Congress party, the industry is gradually losing its spark and other film industry is gaining hold here ,but they still engaged in meaningless fan fights ,only if there is a wall' a picture can be drawn.
