The suggestion is not that he should not be made to suffer. he needs to face the consequences of his actions so that he can learn otherwise he will make the same mistakes again and again. The only issue is seeing his breakdown and how he is hurting himself and his family through his own actions there is some sympathy that gets drawn.

The question now is when Mannat realises he didn't known about the baby and had no involvement in Shruti's demise is his breakdown not going to move her?

Will it be Mannat's decision alone with Dua in the picture? Will Dua be as forgiving as Mannat if she somehow finds out Vikrant rejected her as a baby 😆

I felt a tad bit bad for his stupidity when he was crying to Vish about his love for Mannat, but had to tell myself to not melt quickly this time around

I also felt really bad for him in the latest episode where he is crying and saying there is no one of his own and everyone was fooling him 😭 .

But he didn't reject her. A misunderstanding led to the belief that he did.

The problem is the writing has always been designed in such a way that Mannat is the one who discovers the truths and somehow to him he is told as a by the way this is what happened. If they make him discover the truth then it will play out differently. Make him bring the saboot not Mannat fighting all the demons by herself.

Exactly we audience and Mannat maybe able to understand this eventually and forgive him for his stupidity,

I am wondering will Dua who maybe going through emotional trauma will see and understand this fact ? Remember She is only 5 and might have seen her mother struggle and any other masala makers plan to add.

Was basically trying to establish it is a steep uphill task for Vikrant this time around since there is "their Dua" both were wishing for to live with

Reading down list of comments was contemplating how will I come out and say I’m already feeling bad for Vik seeing him in tears whilst also being a complete ass! And my besties Betty and Jyots already did for me ❤️

I have every sympathy for Mannat and totally want her to distance herself from Vik and the noose that’s around his neck (Vish & ARS) at this moment so there is a chance for her survival let alone sanity and that of their baby’s. She has been his anchor and support for this long but she has to reset her priorities now for all three of their cases. He will realise what he lost only when it’s gone. And have to work the hardest he’s ever had to to earn Mannat’s forgiveness.

RD I am and always have been a glutton for punishment so falling for the symbolisms….. Mannat is Vik’s mannat answered by Babaji. During the scene where RoTu were doing arti and ManVik behind, Mannat put her arms on Vik and made duas for their everlasting love whether he wants it or not….. which will be answered with their Dua, who will heal her father and draw them together, including mend relations with RoTu ❤️

Leap can’t come soon enough for all of us!

See Basically mukta should be kind enough to keep 5 year old out of mental trauma of her parents separation and agony coming out of it..

Hope Mukta keeps in her mind ,not to give traumatic life to Dua like her parents 🤞.Mannat shoukd consciously try to provide a different, more stable upbringing for "Dua" ...

Mannat has always reiterated that she owes everything to Shruti maa, who sacrificed her whole life to provide a happy and stable upbringing for Mannat, protecting her. Mannat will follow her example and shower their daughter with love and protect her by taking her away from the toxicity.

The test will also be for Vik, will he feel worthy of providing the love and grounding that RoTu provided him , to his daughter ? Hopefully the in the 5 years there is some self growth in him and by the time their paths cross and eventually learns of his daughter he doesn’t bring trauma into Dua’s life that he experienced at that age.

I really want to see a solid redemption arc for Vik. Until now, a small sorry has always worked for him, while Mannat has gone to extreme lengths to win him back. She openly fought Malla, Neetu, ARS, and now Vish. Vik never had to do anything in return writers only gave him big dialogues like “I will fight with you and for you, even against the world,” but no situation has truly tested him so far. I feel this is the perfect time for the writers to finally start his redemption both before the leap and continue it afterward, once he learns about Mannat’s whereabouts. Question….If some of his misunderstandings get cleared pre-leap and he realises DK and Mannat never had that kind of relationship, but then post-leap he sees them living as a family… will he go back to square one?

Bold: Do you forsee his misunderstanding clearing pre-leap? He seems locked in. All i can see is him wallowing in self pity and broken heart. How would you see it being cleared from his side?

I don't think Vikrant has the smarts to think twice about the name of the baby. Maybe he would get a hint from the name.
