What do they mean by this?

"This would have been a very bad result if the film was in one part as the budget is too high and you cant have this sort of advance and expect to get anywhere on the cost of the film but now the film has been split into two parts so the advances become okay as now it becomes about how it sustains and recovery becomes possible due to the second part. "

This was supposed to be posted yesterday. They made so many drafts..they made a jalebi ( samosas,are straight shooters)

no i don't get it..they cut 1 movie into 2 the last min and are now releasing only the 1st part?

what is BOI implying here? so the 350cr budget 3hr 40min movie is cut into 2 movies..so this movie which is part 1 has half the budget and screentime..that is what it sounds like from it

Industry has known it for weeks.There is a 4 minute trailer post credit.They had 7 hour footage. They revealed it only recently.The part 1 has to click with the public. BOI says budget is not an issue-so the makers are not going all out to promote and they have sold the rights to Netflix and will be releasing the film in January itself. To get as many eyeballs as possible quickly.

If the film is liked-It is an incredible move.They will go all out to promote part 2. The actors will have material to talk about.

The film is already shot. Whatever the outcome of part 1..part 2 will release,even if it is on OTT.
