Crazy Creatives bring to you a Microtale Contest! Conjure those spirits, cast those spells, and write those stories...but there are some rules!

- Your story can only be a maximum of 50 words.

- Your story must fall into 1 of 2 themes: autumn/fall or horror.

- You can submit a maximum of 4 entries that must be distributed equally among the themes. For example, if you submit 3 stories you must write one under each theme and then 1 can be of your choice.

- Make all your submissions in 1 PM and clearly note the theme of your story.

- Your story must be your own work. You cannot use AI to write your stories, though you are welcome to use it for ideas.

- Your stories must not have been published anywhere before this and cannot be published during the duration of this contest and voting. Once results are published then you are welcome to share your entries.

- Note that if even 1 entry seems plagiarized or written by AI then all entries will be disqualified.

Given the broad rules and the fact that we have a lot of writers on IF, we might first hold a judges' round of voting where judges will reduce the number of entries for public voting. Alternatively, we might host batch round of voting where a small portion of entries will be posted at a time for voting.

So what are you waiting for? Put on those writing hats and submit your best works!

@bolded: I have a doubt here. Every story that we write should fall under autumn/fall or horror right ?

Then what does this mean?

if you submit 3 stories you must write one under each theme and then 1 can be of your choice.

Pls clarify.

Yeah. So does that mean 4th story can be based on a theme of our choosing (other than the above listed ones)

I mean you can choose one of the 2 themes. We want to ensure that no one submits 3 stories under horror only or fall/autumn only. So if you submit an odd number of stories, just pick 1 theme to write 2 stories under.

Fall and autumn are the same thing. It is 1 theme. Horror is a second theme.
