Yes, it was five years ago (Nov. 2020 during the shoting of LAC: Live the Battle in Kargil - not released until now). It took a lot of effort for him to come back to work which was for the (social drama) Walk (shot during Covid about the migrating workers, awarded in several filmfestivals).

Btw, his last movie Agra got its theatrical release just two weeks ago.
