Because sometimes a question isn’t about getting a different answer ...it’s about processing your own feelings.

He wasn’t asking the astrologer to override Akanksha’s decision.

He wasn’t asking, “Will she change her mind?”

He wasn’t even asking, “What should I do?”

He asked because he was introspective and may be vulnerable, not because he was disrespectful.

When people are isolated for 100+ days, emotionally drained, missing home, missing their partner, missing normalcy,they spend lot of time alone and that can give rise to dormant deep desires and they often say things to random people that they would never say in a regular setting. It’s human.

And He already knows Akanksha’s answer.He already stands by her choice.He has never pressured her or guilt-tripped her.

He immediately accepted her stance AGAIN when she came and repeated it.

So the astrologer moment wasn’t about “changing her mind.”It was about him navigating his own internal conflict, which all adults in long-term relationships face:two truths existing together .. wanting something deeply, and still choosing the person you love over that desire.

This doesn’t make him a villain.This makes him human.

And honestly we all vent or confess things to random outsiders at times when we feel safe or seen. It’s not always about seeking permission. Sometimes it's just about letting the thought breathe without burdening your partner.

I’m not defending it ..yes, it could have been avoided.

But let’s also not pretend that one vulnerable slip suddenly erases nine long years of him fiercely protecting her choice.

He has stood by her stance every single time it mattered .. with family, with friends, with society’s expectations, in interviews, everywhere.

One moment of human weakness inside a pressure-cooker environment doesn’t overwrite a decade of consistency....
