@b: not a big fan of Abhira myself but lol that's harsh. Abhira's actions were a direct result of the shock and not something consciously or maliciously pre-decided.

Melodraama for the sake of it VV would have screamed bloody murder even if she had grazed her little finger, yeh toh baaaaaaadi baat hai

Their whole khandaan are full of sympathy chasers.

Also, what's wrong with Abhir? I know he had a difficult life growing up, but why is he behind Kiara like marrying her and becoming a part of her family (which he already is, he is seen as Charu's husband and the jamai of the house. And he uses that relation when it suits him) will fix him? These two siblings need to have proper therapy and counseling so they understand that the concept of a big, happy family won't heal them. At this point their entire character arcs are that they always had this emptiness and need to be protected, sheltered, and cheered on by others, and since they found the Poddar-Bansals, they are sticking to them, because toxic or not, full of criminals or not, this family always comes back together, and Abhir-Abhira need that. They need the support of a family.

Yes, having a good support system is necessary, but not if you aren't willing to heal and take responsibility of your own wellbeing.

What was that conversation about Abhir losing everyone, Kiara having a stable family environment growing up etcetera? Kiara did right by telling him that it is not possible for her to heal him, she has to put that effort into healing herself. This conversation could have gone a lot better if the writers had put some effort setting things up and if they hadn't jumped into ONS so soon after Abhir's return.

They can't expect us to take their realistic and halfway decent tracks seriously when they push a celebration or comedy tracks like children's day in the main narrative and make it look like a joke. When the theme is melodrama, things lose nuance. Abhir-Kiara track post leap could have and should have been handled better.

Wasn't abhira "charging her battery" Moments after anshuman's death???
