Oh she will redeem, I am sure of that. Right now they’ve subverted the usual poor people aren’t greedy trope they’ve always used before.

The problem is that even if she does, will anyone bother to believe her? The saying first impression is the last impression has not been made up just for the sake of it. It resonates.

She might change but that change can come at a time when her daughter has been damaged by something she did or is presumed to have done. Vrinda might be blamed for some kind of theft going forward linked to her mom or leaking some kind of information that costs the Viranis some contracts or losses and it can have bad repercussions for her image with her in-laws and marriage. She might also just do something completely stupid without thinking through the repercussions that her actions will have for her daughter going forward. Just like yesterday she dreamed that Vrinda will be accepted by the Viranis simply because Angad married her. This even though she not only knows Angad was set to marry someone else, but marry her on the same day.

Who in their right mind will assume that their daughter who has just been dropped as a surprise bride on an unsuspecting family which was preparing to welcome another girl as their new DIL will be absolutely fine with this change happening at the last minute?

Her greed backfired on her for now and she got a reality check.

Frankly if Ekta doesn’t redeem or change her either it will be fine because it will prove that people don’t change. That there can be extreme greed and yes it can exist anywhere. I am sure that Noyna is also out there trying to bag Mihir for the money.

For all we know Noyna and Malti (iirc that’s her name) are both gonna be shown as two versions of the same kind of character trait. The difference in their presentation changes how people perceive them and think of them. One is very blatantly in your face about it and so she’s loud, crass and obnoxious. The other is subtle, sophisticated, and doesn’t even give a bleep on your radar and so goes undetected and can be even more damaging and dangerous than the loud one you will avoid instinctively all because she’s got her plans and thoughts written all across her plain as day.
