This may not be a popular opinion but it’s a perfectly reasonable thing for Mihir to assume that the daughter is no different than the mother. After all the mother legit try to get Mihir to pay a bill of 32 lakhs. That might not be a huge amount for him as a character but imagine someone trying to do this after they already made you pay 10 lakhs to give you an evidence to prove your son innocent. Then their daughter suddenly becomes your DIL out of nowhere, you have no clue that your son has been falling in love with her and she’s not greedy like her mother.

This would be anyone’s reaction, let alone of a man like Mihir who is said to be worth hundreds of crores if not more.

His reaction appears crass to us because we know Vrinda is not like her mom, but he doesn’t know that as Mihir, a man whose only acquaintance with the family has been only ever negative.

His son eloped on his wedding day. There are relatives and acquaintances on both sides there waiting for the groom to turn up. But not only is he missing, he goes ahead and marries another girl.

Right now Mihir is not thinking about the girl he’s insulting as someone who is a daughter to him or of his daughter’s age but he’s angry, humiliated, embarrassed, guilty as he feels his son has ruined an innocent girl’s life by causing her unnecessary pain and scandal. Plus he feels his wife has also made a fool of him, hurt him again. Plus he feels his son has made a mistake and has been trapped by a greedy woman’s daughter.

Mihir has looked past Ranvijay’s financial situation for the happiness of his daughter so he’s not being an elitist, he thinks however that he would rather have an upfront idea of who his children love and so long as they’re decent people he’s fine with them regardless of their economic status. Here he feels his son has been trapped and worse he doesn’t understand it; and has now opened the doors of the coffers of the Virani family to a greedy woman and her family. If she can have the audacity to think he will buy jewellery worth 32 lakhs for her already, what will she do in the future? There’s no way he can be reasonable right now, least of all treat Vrinda right, let alone think of Vrinda as someone who’s unlike her mother.

I agree with you. It is reasonable to judge her on the basis of her mother and his reactions were justifiable even though Angad-Vrinda's actions are justifiable. I didn't feel angry towards him. I get frustrated only when he dances to Paridhi and Noina's tunes.

But I cannot believe/accept how he don't even know how she looks, given the reasons and in future, he will be surprised to see this good girl was his bahu/daughter of greedy woman. If I hate someone, I would have the least interest to know he/she looks so that I avoid contacing them.

I know drama is needed...but so is the story line!! Same track over and over with no conclusions...

Tulsi is not doing anything except rona dhona... which is strange... I hope the leap brings in some new twists with positive bahus and hrithik actually doing something... it is like positive characters can't speak and the oldie mihir will only listen to the 2 manipulators.. there is a diff between drama and non sense.

I was ok with parents with different parenting approach and a lady trying to enter the marriage but what is this track of oldie romance and mihir ill treating tulsi after that...unbearable!

Let’s see how long the leap is for to begin with. For all we know it’s just a couple of months or a year at most, to show Mihir missing his son and cooling off after time has passed. I don’t think they’ll get many positive characters - old or new post leap because budget is clearly short. They’re using BD for Vrinda! I mean I understand for Tulsi since Smriti apparently charges a bomb but Tanisha!

As for Tulsi crying, she’s caught in the classic husband v/s son story where Angad is concerned and her own daughter is being stupid enough to not just fall into a trap but also help the one digging the hole for her to push her there while provoking her father against her mother. What exactly is she gonna do? Yelling, screaming or slapping won’t work here. She’s overwhelmed and scared of watching her daughter destroy herself, her husband getting hurt by their son and hurting their son as a reaction.

Calm conversations are clearly not happening no matter how much they’re needed. Anyone in her shoes will cry.

How are you supposed to deal with the stress of the situation where everyone you love is either against you or thinks you’re going against them while you’re watching everyone who means the world to you hurt or hurting someone you care about. What else can she do here in this situation especially when it’s happening?

She will ultimately solve these things but people are expecting her to do something now when she’s in that classic - nothing is going right phase.
