Abuse comes in many forms. A relationship souring isn’t always due to abuse, it can be toxic, it can be misunderstandings or it can be anything.

I didn’t find the way he said it as nasty, he was driving a point that his dad is not RD Burman that he had clout: he has mentioned it before also that his dads failures and lack of success meant he was chronically depressed, and always locked up in a room.
