Karan was about to marry Damini when Gautam has him attacked by goons and so obviously Karan never makes it to the mandap. Gautam was at the wedding as Damini was his secretary or assistant or something; he immediately offered to marry Damini by telling her parents that he can’t see Damini and them getting humiliated. Damini’s dad never liked Karan as he was aware that he was an illegitimate child.

So while Gautam didn’t do the conventional drama nor did he ditch any of his brides, he was the OG Virani son to create drama on a wedding day as he planned to marry Damini to avenge Tisha’s death by punishing Karan for his mother killing his pregnant wife.

I like how Angad actually represents the new generation. He stands up for himself amd what's right. He has a different personality than other robotic male characters on tv.

Mandap mein shaadi waale din dulha badal gaya. Uske maa baap phir show mein kabhi dikhe bhi nahi. Itna sab hua phir bhi, na kissi aur shaadi mein apni beti ki sasural mein, na jab koi mara, na hi tab jab Damini ka miscarriage hua. Yeh bhi nahi bola ke uske parents chal base hai.

Virani parivaar ke samdhi gayab ho jaate hai, khaas kar ke bahu ki families ke.
