Ek dum blind to power dynamics of the family..and if the wife objects, she is immediately accused of 'parivaar mein foot dalne' wala crime..parivaar toh hai..but leeches ka parivaar hai kuch mardon ka..weakness dikhaoge toh log advantage lenge hi..

You reminded me of the shrewd ladies in my extended family who of course dress nowhere like Mansi or show attitude openly like her. Everything happens silently in the background. But these are the ones who thrive!

Then there are the docile ones who don't give back because they just can't. They've been taught not to. So ultimately they are the ones who silently suffer mainly because the wimps they are married to never support them.

Whatever you have said (highlighted in red) hit a little close to home. I have the same word for such people - "leeches". Never satisfied, always want more, more, more. Imbecile is also apt for the never supporting "better" half.

Here Mansi knows her husband doesn't have any power or real say in the family. So she acts out. Also a nice ploy to show the stark difference between her and Anu, one a docile, saas pleasing, sacrificing bahu, the other a shrew. No guesses which one the audience will love.

In real life, a balance between both caricatures is essential to lead a peaceful existence. Women need to talk, speak up when it's important instead of thinking log kya sochenge (à la Gopal) and also figure out when to pick their battles and remain silent. Being a sentimental fool is just that - foolish.

With the way life treats us, we probably need a wine collection, not tea or coffee

Don't fret dear, it's ghar ghar ki kahani. Ranting is good. We all need space to vent. All those pent up emotions need to be released. After all, we all have an inner Mansi just waiting to come out

It would have been good if Arya had died in place of Rajnandini...They could have shown her pining for Arya.. Kelkar flashback mein aa jaata,waise bhi guest appearance hi karna hai na..

Do do age gap romance..buddha lothario Arya with young Rajjo.. older Rajjo with a new guy....

But then pehle wala love story toh audience digest kar legi...but the other love story will be seen as paap..a cougar is a cougar,what if the guy she is involved with is reincarnation of her patidev
