Yes he should be called out for saying that but i guess he nullified his own statement by defending ashnoor's body type.
And i don't think so that amaal ever got free pass except thrice when he went on bajaj's family, when he made comment on farhana about P movies and when he name called some contestants in their back. But it does not mean that he is only one who got free pass. Pranit was never bashed not even single time for passing derogatory comments, for passing such a cheap joke on baseer's sister, for making fun of casting coach. Nor bajaj and gk was bashed on passing homophobic and derogatory comments.
Yes amaal is down these days but If amaal deserves to go out then gk, mridul, ashnoor and pranit should be evicted in third week only because they were also inactive in initial weeks. And they had also spent luxurious free stay package till 8th week.

Gautam went into a washroom with Diandra and won the season, Shilpa bullied Vikas, Gauhar did nothing when Kushal was fat shaming Tanisha, Sid I won’t say much but he said and did a lot of crappy things which now don’t matter. If these people can be winners and rightfully so the audience liked them then for me Amal is not any worse
