Yeh log kis baat keliye stylists ko paise dete hai. And stylist chodo it’s basic common sense, that choker are worn for plunge and deep neck lines, to grab attention towards neck. Isme giraffe lag rahi hai. She should’ve worn a simple mid length necklace. Sorry for the rant, it’s just annoying to see celebrities who have all the sources make these fashion blunders

Yeah same I don't think Riya was ever scared of him. Maybe in that roshni file scene but never after that. And before her death they had some scenes where he's the same trying to shut her up and she sees through that. I think down the line his taunts will lose the heat and she wil brush them aside. What i so wanted to see and read in fanfics is how she stands upto him. Stop taking his bs. Straight away ask why he's so comfortable to taunt her everytime? Shut him down when things are too heated. Arjun becoming a man from the animal he is would be interesting to see. Legit taming of the shrew if you think 🤣🙃

Yes riya being research based or pr...if you have watched criminal minds jj was into pr then moved to case. Also they just wasted psychology and statistics in this damn show. Statistics isn't something silly. It helps so much in serial killer hunting, finding the possible zone killer is staying and why this killer is choosing XYZ places. Damn imagine Riya explaining things is depth. Statistics also helps in today's programming. Shree Riya teaming to make something etf inhouse progam to catch criminals - I need to stop thinking about wasted potential

I will definitely start watching both shows as soon as I get a chance. Are the first 2 seasons of NCIS not worth watching? Or does it just get really good after s3? I'm excited to watch Special Squad now, I like watching the forensics side of things and yeah, Arjun the show was not good with that. I needed a good Indian TV show I haven't seen before too so hopefully I will enjoy!

Yeah, that file scene is the only one I can think of too. If she had lived after Xora, Riya definitely shouldn't have tolerated Arjun calling her a coward nor should he have the guts to call her one. (Not that it would stop Arjun.) Given the dynamics in the show, I don't know if Riya would ever directly call him out. But definitely continue calling him out in her own indirect way and maybe proper friendship dynamics between the two. In fanfic, I would love to see Riya call Arjun out if/when he crosses the line. But the fanfics I've read have had more rootable versions of Arjun. The few that capture him as he is the one, I just pretend Riya finds herself a better man. 😂. I'm not the biggest fan of girls 'fixing' men in fiction. Mostly because it's hard to do it well but also because it's usually at the sacrifice of the female character. Everyone has their issues. I want to see Riya's demons in the fanfic, not just Arjun's.

So, I'd much rather see Arjun sort out his issues on his own. Not because Riya is taking the initiative. Tame yourself Arjun and become a better man. 😂 I'll only take a 'taming of the shrew' if it's written well. Or a light-hearted fic. Any chance one already exists? 😂

Yes, a JJ type role could've worked well for Riya. Or even Sakshi, for that matter. And 100% agreed about the statistics. That's exactly how I feel. A stats program would've been so cool. Maybe Riya hates being stuck at the desk, ends up taking over aspects of Shree's role and they wind up developing something cool. Sort of like Angela in Bones developed her program.

It really bothers me with all the potential they wasted too. And it's more frustrating because how many shows do people actually still remember so long after they started? The show had all factors but they did nothing with it! I think the only good thing is that it established the characters and the dynamics and gave scope to the fanfic writers! 😊

They wasted sakshi too. A crime journalist like her apparently came as sikandars mole... Come on. Use your women characters better. Women going to space and making vaccines why don't you expand your horizons?? Also she fell arjun too. Man if a guy is unnecessarily showing attitude to me or other girls I think they will hit him. Also he's not like Edward cullen types too 🤣🤣 these girls are insane. I wanted to see more of Aisha too, j think when she entered they wanted to make her as female arjun very badass rule breaking but softened her too. She had a good story with undercover thing. Basically again waste. And chotu as well... I mean if you have watched arrow john diggle was ex military, similar bulky figure and everyone was scared of him+ really good with guns. Chotu being badass would be so cool too.

Special squad is really good with forensic. Aryan was like part time lab person, they have a dedicated team, later deepika also comes as forensic head. It's a mixture of their observation about cases + what they find with forensics. I think that's how real life cases work too so it was great to watch. Every character works there, everyone is rootable. Aryans backstory always looms in background but not hijacking the story. I am a fan in case you haven't noticed 🤣🤣

To think special squad came decades before arjun but this show had a better representation all around and arjun failed. They probably wanted gul Khan shows x crime lol no female stuck around for that 🤣🤣😜

I heard sana didn't want to continue and I honestly wouldn't have mind if a new actress came in same role... I like the ending being a heroic brave person but i really wanted to see live that story.

Not many fanfics scratched that itch of riya being that badass. I personally love post xora fics where she's RAW lol. Some stories she's suffering at house as well. Fic arjun is way better, he notices her and actually speaks 🤣 he gets jealous and all. Didn't read many fics where Riya goes off at Arjun. I would personally pay to watch 🤣🤣🤣 she needs to drag him through mud lmao make him kneel 🤣🤣🤣😜

Okay, good to know! I'll start with the 1st season then. You're really making me excited to watch both NCIS and Special Squad. 😂. I'm interested to see how Special Squad holds up for a new watcher after so long. Fingers crossed!

They wasted all their characters but especially the girls. Even the women who were the criminals in Arjun, were usually given a justifiable reason/ killing by accident or for love or something. They really needed to expand their horizens when it came to their female characters. Like you said, they softened Aisha up which is so frustrating! Female Arjun vs Arjun would be satisfying to watch. Yeah, there can only be one rulebreaker in the team but then soften both up in different ways! And I also want to know why all the girls fell for Arjun. As for Chotu, I liked that he was badass but also softie. I haven't seen Arrow since I have 0 interest in DC or Marvel so I don't know about John Diggle. Have you seen Brooklyn Nine Nine? I wish they'd made Chotu's character like Terry's but in a non sitcom way. He seems scary and can be but is also the sweetest guy you'll meet. Which is kind of how Arjun the show depicted him too.

Having a new actress come as Riya could have either worked really well or really badly. Literally 50-50. It wouldn't have been the same Riya so I honestly don't know whether I would have preferred a replacement or not. At least by killing Riya off, she remained untouched by the mess the show became. And got a heroic ending.

Also when women are vilified for prioritising themselves over what they're getting served in the name of love by a 'good' guy. I'm taking a break from Criminal Minds S3 because I really don't like the direction they're going with Hotch's wife. That's probably controversial but I don't really like Hotch.

I like the ones where she's badass but also the ones where she doesn't necessarily change her stance about killing and shooting others. I'd watch Riya go off at Arjun too but also I'd like to see Riya just cut Arjun off when he crosses the line with her. No questions, no soft glances. Just professional.

If you enjoy the forensic side of things, I'd definitely recommend Bones! It has its flaws (like all shows do lol) but I love the main characters so much! Everyone is smart in different ways and they have their own issues and problems. I'm very character-oriented. I need a good plot but I need to be invested in the characters for mystery/thrillers. I actually did start this with S3 funnily enough, and then stopped to watch from S1. It's one of my favourite shows so I'm always looking to recommend it haha! 😊

they wasted rathore aisha too. i always felt they were at a equal footing. rathore could be nice compassionate with aisha being pissed at never able to go back to undercover, how she adjucts in office role and how rathore is there as a great support. nada zilch shes dead with the entire team.wtf . terry is cute...when i say chotu could be like that i mean in a very gritty way. this show could have been very dark humour type if you think.

i had shipped aisha arjun too once upon a time atlst one girl was there who could match upto arjun in that same level of verbal and physical way

Yeah, they felt like they were equal. That would have been amazing to see! Aisha had field experience that no other female character had and it really would've been amazing to see that translate to her character arc. Yeah, they could've gone for the dark humour route too.

Unfortunately yes. There's a show called Once Upon a Time which had some really good arcs with their female characters and villains, especially in the earlier seasons.

Yeah, I only hate how the writers tried to make her villain and ignore how Hotch was a terrible husband and father.

I don't have a fav yet but I really like Reid, Morgan and Penny so far. I like JJ and Emily too but I need to watch more.

Yes, she probably would be really fair and probably one that was really approachable too. Would love to see more women in positions of power. I enjoyed watching Jessica a lot for that reason.

There are some great female characters in Bones - do let me know what you think when you try it! 😊

Same here.

Romance books are great once you find the right kind for you though. I don't bother with dark romance since I hate the tropes and characters they usually have. Which ones do you find mushy lol? I think romance is the hardest genre to recommend books for just because it's such a huge genre and there's so much out there, but usually the focus is only on the popular stuff.

You should watch this series called castle if you haven't. Complex fl and the guy is very cute. My first ever female crush lol
