: Harshit Rana repaid the massive trust of India head coach Gautam Gambhir as he shone with his bowling in the side's third and final ODI against Australia in Sydney. Australia are struggling in the match after losing eight wickets to India. Rana and Washington Sundar have picked up two wickets each, while Mohammed Siraj, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna have also taken one apiece. Earlier, host team captain Mitchell Marsh won the toss and elected to bat first.

Kuldeep took time to assess the conditions, but the other two bowled beautifully. They kept attacking the stumps, dried the boundaries and brought about the wrong shots. Matt Renshaw kept the middle-order afloat with a 58-ball 56, but Harshit Rana came back to slice through the middle and lower order. India did drop catches, some of the bowling was ordinary, but on a typically slow and low SCG pitch, they'll believe they've done enough to pull one game back
