But Krush as Anirudh Bose has mastered the art of bringing complex shades of a character to life, with finesse...for Krush, as you said, playing Aviraj is a massive downgrade. He expects us to praise him for choosing a negative character which he considers as something anokha...but the truth is, Aviraj is too simple and straight a character for him to play at this stage.. Given that it's a remake, we all know the character arc will straight away move from negative to positive due to the bachha..it neither challanges him as an actor nor challanges us to think about Aviraj's motives, actions and so called redemption..and most of Krushal's frustrations on fd is stemming from the contrast of his wish of acceptance for Aviraj by the fd and fd's lack of interest in it..

Exactly! If someone who has only played one-note positive MLs suddenly picked a full-blown negative lead, then it could be applauded as an acting challenge. But Krushal is not that actor — he’s already proved his flair for layered, morally grey characters with Anirudh Bose. He thrived in nuance, internal conflict, and silent gravitas.

Which is why Aviraj feels like such a downgrade. There’s nothing complex or unpredictable about him — he’s a factory-produced ITV negative lead with a textbook redemption arc waiting to be “activated” the moment the kid comes into play. There's nothing here for Krush to sink his teeth into, creatively or emotionally. It’s a linear character marketed as a risk, when in reality, it’s the safest, most uninspired choice.

And you’ve hit the nail on the head about his frustration with the FD — he expected applause for “picking a negative role” as if that alone is revolutionary. But the audience isn’t rejecting negativity, they’re rejecting mediocrity. There’s no depth, no intrigue, no psychological conflict — so why should people invest?

You can’t expect viewers to romanticize surface-level chaos after you've already shown them the brilliance of controlled storm. Once you’ve tasted complexity, template villains just don’t cut it.

For greed of building trp early on, they rush thru the thought-thru part of the story.. beyond this it becomes a rudderless ship, unsure how to get into the right trp bracket to remain afloat if they haven't been lucky so far, or gamble for more if its good right now.. either of it coming from incoherence as i said no one thought for > approx 150th episode.

Even Bindi should have invested in to develop a foundation of how/why Aviraj became a blind supporter of Daya bhayya, invest little more time in why/how he zeroed down on Kajal as his target, how he manipulated Kajal into trusting him... manipulating Kajal would have worked in trp favor in fact as audience would feel attracted to Aviraj flipping good to bad to good opportunistically ... the actor is capable of portraying this nuance.. Aviraj scheming to send Kajal to jail should have taken a little longer..

I expected Aviraj would be the actual brain, the strategist of Daya Bhaiyya... and Daya needs him more than the reverse.. its disappointing that Aviraj is just a chirkut assistant taking commands from Bhaiyya...

I guess you aren’t aware of the story of the OG show. lol Aviraj’s character is a sidekick chamcha in that also and Krushal took up this role being very well aware of all that. It’s clear from all his IVs that he didn’t care about anything other than his dream of playing “dark mawaali character” so he has very happily jumped to doing this role and seems extremely happy playing it also smiley36

When the OG show never invested in the backstory of Aviraj’s motivations, they will not bother in the lazy copy paste Hindi version either. lol their only focus is on aesthetics of camera angles and slow motion shots smiley36

What you are saying about shows fizzling out after 150 epis - that happened with Jhanak. But current lot of ITV shows can’t even get initial 150 epis right smiley36

If it is an unpopular opinion then so be it...I am with you in this 🤣

Krushal excelled as Anirudh because even in his morally grey moments, there was refinement, restraint, and intelligence in the character. You could believe his lies and manipulation because they were delivered with a certain sophistication. That’s clearly where his strength lies — in subtlety, controlled intensity, and layered expression.

But now? He’s trying to swing to the complete opposite end with this mawaali/gunda act — and it simply doesn’t come naturally to him. Not everyone can pull off rugged, raw, street-style roles. It’s not an insult; it’s just not his zone.At least not at this point.....

And you said it perfectly — the artificiality shows. The lingo feels forced, the gestures feel performed, not lived. Instead of becoming the character, it looks like Anirudh cosplaying as a gunda in a fancy dress competition 🤦‍♀️😂

A badly written character can still work if the actor brings soul into it. But here, the writing is hollow and the portrayal lacks authenticity — so there’s nothing for the audience to emotionally hold on to.

When a performance evokes cringe instead of conflict, disinterest instead of intrigue, then as an actor, you’ve missed the mark — whether your ego allows you to admit it or not.

And also may be may be the writing is so bad that he is not getting any motivation to understand the non-existent nuances of the character and hence such superficial performance...I don't know..bcz he is a good actor...

Hope someday he returns to roles that elevate his strengths instead of exposing his weaknesses.

Purple...r a na Asmita..this is THE MOST popular opinion 🤣 isi liye to humare ladke ko itti chidd machi hai 🫢🫢🫢

Red...kya bol rahi ho aap! He is ecstatic about Aviraj! He is high in delulu that he is playing some hatke character jo pehle kisi actor ne nahi kiya! 😁😁

Honestly Balaraju character looked much better than Aviraj...He always gave villain vibes… looked just as powerful as the main villain. Aviraj, on the other hand, comes across as total meme material.

No no .....his previous Bengali character korno sen was a good character with lots of scope for performance, Arjun in Riston ka manjha was also a good character......

Pata nahi kya bhoot sawar hua uss pe iss baar...he just allowed all the praises of the blind stans to go to his head and probably lost perspective and when viewers gave him reality check by not giving this show trp and his character hype,he is still not being able to see the reason....and making all kinds of wrong assumption...and disowning his most popular pairing 🤣🤣

LoL...in fact Palki is making Aviraj more fake and far away from reality by randomly inserting romantic SR and karwachauth scenes, which have no real value par story 🤣🤣 aage bhi ye sab cheap stunts karti rahegi to keep bewakoof fans hooked to the show 🤐

@bold: THIS exactly. The audience is rejecting mediocrity. But Krushal who loves to preen about how he can’t sugarcoat blah blah is unable to handle blunt truths thrown at him smiley36….he is unable to accept that the criticism is about the quality of the content he has chosen, not about audience not being to accept so called dark role or supposedly hung up on his previous ship smiley29smiley36

Amazing these expectations actors have from the audience that we should swallow and appreciate kuch bhi bakwaas mediocrity thrown at us 🙄🤡😂

Yeah i did read here its a Chinni remake.. but i assumed if its caught his attention, then it should be a meaty one...

But i realized he's going to have the 'chinni'-est screen-presence among all the characters of this show.. :(

Feels funny to watch the 6 footer with his hands tied behind all the time bending down to take instructions from his boss...

I just said this to AYji, even without seeing the OG but getting updates about Bindi...Aviraj is more fake and caricaturish than Balaraju and Palki is doing it intentionally to hold on to blind fans of Krush..

What about bending down to back hug Kajal devi (the fl)?? Does it give some graaanddd chemistry vibe (as claimed by some toxic solo fans of Krush)?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
