those who are willing to buy awards will buy it. I doubt SRK and salman care about buying filmfare.

When the Bachchans traveled for an award show, it was clear their Baby B was winning

I love how actors have literally come out and said that these popular awards are a scam and showing up/performing at the show will get you an award, yet every single year people will discuss them on "Merit".

Whether Alia wins or someone else wins, these awards have no credibility, haven't since the mid 90s and now neither does the National Award after Jawan.
