Jadeja to T Chanderpaul, OUT

Three juggles and Rahul takes it at slip! Chanderpaul had a good battle with Jadeja, ends with the bowler firing in a 94ks wide length ball that spun in. Finished around fifth and it kept rising. Chanderpaul wasn't sure about how much it'd spin, whether he should keep coming down or stay stable. He opened the face fully, bat slightly away from the body, hoping for the best. Ball deflected to Rahul's left at a relatively easy pace. He fumbled but the ball was close enough for the second and third juggles to be in control

16:34 Local Time, 11:04 GMT, 16:34 IST: Another day that has been pocketed by the Indians. West Indies showed more grit and determination when compared to their batting effort in Ahmedabad, but they were still prone for the odd lapse in concentration which has cost them dearly this series. India added exactly 200 more runs today before declaring at 518 for 5 - Yashasvi Jaiswal's 175 and Shubman Gill's 129* being the fulcrum of the batting. John Campbell was dismissed in a freak fashion, but Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Alick Athanaze put their heads down and stitched a 66-run 2nd wicket stand. But as it's happened so often in the past, an error got rid of Chanderpaul and it led to a small collapse as the visitors went from 87 for 1 to 107 for 4. Shai Hope has looked very positive and Tevin Imlach has batted with assurance, the wicket still has runs on it and they'll hope for a good batting day tomorrow. For India, it's all about keeping their patience, bowl in the right areas and wait for the inevitable mistake

Day 2: Stumps - West Indies trail by 378 runs

Yashasvi Jaiswal: I always try to play as long as I can. If I'm there, I should just take the game forward and play as long as I can. It's (his run-out) part of the game, so it's fine. There is always a thought that what I can achieve and what can be my goal and my team's goal, I just try and be in the game and make sure if I'm in, I should take it long. I was trying to get in, so there was a bit of movement, but when I was in the middle, I was thinking that maybe I'll bat for one hour and then it will be easy for me to score. The wicket is still pretty good, we are bowling very well, we will be seeing as quickly as we can get to them and get them again.

09:00 Local Time, 03:30 GMT | Day three: West Indies showed improvement with the ball on day two compared to the opening day. Yet, they ended up conceding 518 runs. With the bat, it's fair to say that it was their best effort in three innings, which also included their first half-century partnership of the series. Yet, WI are well behind the eight ball as they slipped from 87/1 to 107/4. The visitors' first target will be to avoid the follow-on for which they'll have to score 179 more runs. The pitch isn't a minefield by any means but expect the Indian spinners to keep things tight and force the batters to make the error. Shai Hope batted positively against spin. Can he continue to do that? Let's find out. Action already started a few minutes back.
