Abhi: "I would have Renuka Singh's swing and accuracy over Shree Charani's spin any day. Gives psychological satisfaction to have the 3rd spinner, but compare with Renuka's numbers and ability to rattle top order in powerplay to Shree Charani." -- Well, that will always be the trade-off, but India seem to be doing okay with another spinner in the mix. Not to mention that SA have struggled against left-arm spin.

South Africa who has conceded 8 runs in the first over gave only 6 runs in the next two overs. 3 of them or extras. With 3 extras and 3 extra balls, India has managed only 3 runs with the ball.

Good recovery. 8 runs in the 4th over for India. Smriti is playing very cautiously.

Mlaba to Mandhana, OUT

straight down long on's throat, and Mlaba has the big fish in her first over! Dangles the carrot just outside off and Mandhana bites. She wants to go downtown but does not get under it enough. Off the toe-end of the bat and Luus is stationed just for that sort of miscue. Mandhana shakes her head in disappointment and there is a hush around the ground. Massive, massive moment in the game and Mlaba has produced it yet again for South Africa!

Smriti Mandhana c Luus b Mlaba 23 (32b 1x4 1x6) SR: 71.87

Mlaba to Deol, OUT

Oof! That's a left-arm spinner's delight. Drift, guile, timber! Gets the the length ball to float in around middle at 74.6kph that lands and drifts away from Deol. She is squared up as the ball spins past her outside edge and rattles her stumps. A friendly goodbye from Mlaba as India lose their second

Harleen Deol b Mlaba 13 (23b 1x4 0x6) SR: 56.52
