What about this free space..is it like your trump card like when you are short of 1 space to complete a full row then to use it or it has any other purpose?

How do we get points in this game?does everyone have different boxes received in pm?

Yeah Free space is like your trump. It's like a free bonus which basically means you can fill any number there & it's filled/called. -- for example, the host calls out 23,78,5, 43 and these are in the same row with one 'FREE'. In this case, you can declare Bingo for the row because whatever four numbers called out by the host are crossed off, and the empty box means you can use it according to your convenience.

This is not just for the row. You can use it for the column that passes through the FREE, and both the diagonals which pass through.

So for one row, one column, 2 diagonals, you need only four numbers from the host to cross off and achieving BINGO.

Does this make sense ?

No, I'm not sure if everyone would have recieved the same cards in PM, but she'll be calling out the same numbers across all the slots. Maybe you might have one row & I might not. I mean that's the object of the game, right? It's purely luck as to which card you'll be getting. Shreya might have/probably used a spin /randomizer for sending us the cards.

This is just to get your feet wet -- like Shreya said. We are playing traditional bingo.

No, seriously. I'll pick one diagonal here. Say if the host calls out 3,7,57,74, then you can cross them off and declare Bingo for that diagonal. Kyunki beech mein free hai. It means it's already called ( in bingo terms )

You can also do this for the 4,29,51,71 or the 15,23,58,69. You need only 4 numbers from the host to declare Bingo. This is basically done to make the game a little easier for the participants. (Ik it's unbelievable since it's Shreya's game but afaik this is how it is in Bingo).

If there's no free, then here, for example, take 4,16,38,54,65 -- you need all the 5 numbers to be called out before you can declare Bingo. Agar ek bhi nahi hai toh you can't claim the row/diagonal/column.
