Ok, I am fed up of this incident being called rape. So, here's my 2 cents.

Consuming alcohol that he cannot tolerate is obviously only Armoron's mistake. No one forced him, he drank himself into a stupor.

I don't know why this talk about consent becomes applicable in this case. He hugged his legal wife, said ilu. The said wife has been desperate for his attention and affection - she took the sudden attention and words too willingly. Why is it her fault that she could not read his mind and understand that the words weren't meant for her?

In fact in all this she is the ultimate victim. Armaan doesn't remember but she does. And now she would know that all that was meant for somebody else. I can't even image the heartbreak and embarrassment from such a situation.

Why is Armaan a victim here? He drank alcohol, he said ilu and now he refuses to take accountability for his actions while drunk.

To continue my thoughts about the stupidity of this situation - why did he marry Geetu?

She does not havae any legal claim on Maira and Maira had already accepted Abhira wholeheartedly. How could she separate Maira and Abhira? She is a school teacher, not some mafia boss that Armoron got scared? He could have dumped her at a mental hospital or at her grandfather's place?

What was he offering her when he married? Love? Obviously no. Property? Geetu never asked for it. A role in Maria's life? Security and a home (like Abhira)? No he never let them be together later and Geetu already had a home. He didn't even offer her basic respect and companionship. Then why marry? I often read here that Geetu manipulated him into marrying her. I don't agree. He manipulated her by binding her into a marriage that gave her nothing but insults and heartbreak. And he didn't give the min required respect tonthis marriage by repeatedly going after his ex. Why not divorce her first.

He is the lowest scum I have even seen on TV.

It is her fault because she was sober and took advantage of a drunk man who was not in his senses.

He had made it amply clear to her earlier while sober that he will never consummate. So she should backed off when he was drunk. Irrespective of what he told her

Saying Ilu and wanting to have sex are not the same thing

Love confessions and marriage are not the open invitation to sex.

You can love somebody and still not be comfortable with getting intimate . So yes consent is important.

Simple reason. People change, their opinions change. And that is the hope Geetu was holding on to. Her soft smile was the smile of love and not of having overpowered a defenceless man. If I compare Armaan's and Geetu's mistakes that day- I find Armaan irresponsible drinking much more at fault than Geetu misunderstanding his love. I am not saying Armaan sexually assaulted her as that was not his aim, but it wasn't hers either as clearly shown in the show.

But no we have to villainize her for thinking that her husband was initiating physical contact (which was happening) and go with the flow.

First, they bashed G2 nonstop saying she made him drink and raped him. When that didn’t happen, now the new excuse is that she’s God and should’ve known the ILU isn’t for her just so they can excuse Armaan drinking by himself and using her for his physical needs. Remember when they also blamed her for giving him pills to make him sleep so he misses the case? They bash her for things that didn’t happen and never happened. They conveniently bash her from future bts because they know once the episode airs, they won’t be able to bash her anymore, so why not bash her early? And once the episode airs and it’s their god’s fault, then they try bashing her by finding anything and blaming her for it so they can hide his kaands.

Now the next narrative is G2 will try killing Abhira and Miara which first hasn’t aired, and we don’t even know if that’s the truth or again lies like the previous ones. And even if it’s true, then why do they care? Since for them, cheating, EMA, and raping are all okay and fictional is fictional when they want to justify abhimoron. So why moral lessons only when they can conveniently use it to bash others. Third, Armaan himself is responsible for her mental state of mind. Any woman would lose her mind after being used so much and now even raped or at minimum used for sex while the culprit plays victim and blames you instead. It doesn’t justify if G2 will actually try to kill Abhira and Miara, but it explains her state of mind. Any woman would lose her mind, and all of it is Armaan’s fault

Yes. It was Geetu s responsibility. Armaan did not force himself on her. She came on him. She took him to the bedroom. She initiated the kiss

Her husband initiated nothing. She did

People change over time. Not in a few hours. Dude literally refused kiss just few hours ago. Geetu thought he went from being uncomfortable by her touch to ilu in few hours as legit?

In those rape cases it's the drunk culprit who comes on the victim .

A lot of rape cases does happen even when woman is drunk

If I change the scenario. Imagine if the wife had made it very clear n number of times while sober that she is not comfortable with physical touch. Then one day she gets drunk and says ilu. Husband takes that invitation for sex. Wouldn't that be wrong?

When you take a drunk person s words over the one they said while being in their senses.
