This is one of my fav scene and you put two images together, how protective, how sensitive, he is and the way it was so hard for him not to let her go, because he wanted to see her alright, he wanted to hear her voice.

The way he is holding her so close, that was the evidence how much he wanted to see her well being. Later staying outside the window was showing his side of feeling pain when Buaji cleans her wound.

Well, I think the way these two held us together was the writing in the beginning, then the unanimous efforts by all actors and their parts.You can't run the show on one or two actors without a good storyline.
