Samson: Really enjoyed the pressure. Not played many Ind-Pak games but the pressure was there. I had to use my experience, calm my nerves, watch the ball and react. Came off well today. Had a good partnership with Tilak and really enjoyed playing the game today. The game dictates what type of cricket you need to play. You have to respect the conditions and the situation. That is what we have learned after years and years in the IPL. Was just looking to time the ball, and that is what helped me. Closer ones are really good and that is when your character is tested, and you get to test your mental ability. This game was really crucial (before T20 World Cup).

Phew! What a match! SKY can been seen wiping his forehead with a cloth and smile on his face. This was no one-sided affair like the previous meetings between these two sides. It ebbed and flowed and in the end it was India's depth that outdid Pakistan. The law of averages caught up with Abhishek Sharma as he departed cheaply in the second over. SKY and Gill followed him back and India found themselves 20/3 in 4 overs. Samson walked out to the middle and steadied the innings with Tilak. The pair didn't take much risks as they stitched a 50+ stand to bring India back into the contest. Abrar broke that partnership and Pakistan thought they were back in the game with the asking rate also touching 10rpo, but a poor 15th over from Rauf tilted it back in India's favour with the duo of Tilak and Dube adding another 50+ stand. 10 needed off the final and Tilak struck the telling blow as he smashed Rauf for a six and almost sealed the game, leaving Rinku to hit the winning runs. Varun Chakaravarthy: Feel great. At that time, I was going for the wickets, Fakhar and Sahibzada were going well. Kuldeep came and took wickets, brought back memories of the time we had with KKR. He is one of the best. If you see the trend in the last matches, in the first 10 overs everyone go berserk. Me as well, it was much needed to give him an appropriate reply with bat for his shitty behaviour.

Shubman Gill: Pretty amazing. Whole tournament unbeaten and feels amazing. We have played almost all of our cricket with each other. It's amazing to bat with him, he has been phenomenal this tournament. The conversation was to take it as deep as possible. The target was not much but the way Sanju and Tilak batted and the way Dube hit those sixes was amazing. There wasn't much panic with 30 off 3 overs, but it was a slow wicket and the boundaries are bigger, the way both the batters batted, first soaking in the pressure and then hit it all the way.
