They wanted to do the gen 2 leap from the moment jhanak and ani wedding was interrupted by Arshi. Ani become naive started to prepare for the wedding before he complete his divorce first, (which in it will take at least 6 months 😅). The 💩 PH was greedy for more income with using the same things but just changing the cast. Which was 💩 idea l. And backfired 🤣

So you can just consider the village ark as prep for gen 2 nothing more.
