And I agree that ppl will form their opinions based on what they will see in the episodes cuz most ppl do not have the luxury to sit around watching live feed all day and thats my complain with bb and has always been ke ur show cannot be called a reality show if u refuse to show the realities of the characters you favor.

And homophobia is especially a touchy subject with me due to the stigma some of my real life friends go through over it and to turn around and see ppl like bajaj and awez making homophobic remarks over and over again and Pranit telling baseer tu waisa hi jaisa bajaj bolta hai? Like wtf dude? Kaisa hai? Kya bolta hai bajaj?

My lgbt friends on twitter are seeing lachkeela and all trending everywhere with brutal homophobic trolling going on so now how do I tell them that I am a passionate viewer of the show in which some contestants are promoting homophobia openly and repeatedly.

Whats with always attacking baseer’s sexuality? Woh hai ya nai hai its his life. There is nothing wrong if he is as well and nothing to be ashamed about.

Baseer obnoxious hai, arrogant hai, cocky hai, mudde dhoondta hai for content, fashion sense is terrible sab sahi hai but woh khud kissi pe is level ke personal (homophobic) comments nai maarta aur jab maarega I will be the first one to slam him as well and you know that.

You know other than maybe asim (lol) i have always bashed my favs whenever they were wrong so much so ppl used to ask me tum ho bhi na iske supporter ya drama kar rahay ho? 😂

And live feed pe peet peeche 3rd ya 4th week mein front benchers (not gk) while joking about back benchers called him a kalua and another mocking his feminine walk but like you said you missed it and you and all the tv audience would because makers unka aisa kuch telecast hi nai karte 😂😂

Aur you recall what bajaj’s official insta handle posted as their story:

Yaha bajaj ki team openly colorist aur racist ho rahi hai but iske sm pe fans ko yeh sab dekhne mein bohat mazza aata hai

And obviously colorist statements like zebra dont equate to the other animal names. Woh toh I was trying to say pranit got offended over being called zaazu yet calling others kawa, nagin, ostrich, girgit, trashbin, tatti toh while yes pranit will get upset over being called zaazu but he’ll also show he’s being a hypocrite by saying the same to others which he gets offended over if others say it to him lol

And lastly I’ve never had any issues with why you dont like baseer. I know you have genuine reasons, I understand and get it why you don’t like him or why he is off putting to you and I always respect and value your opinions.

So I wasn’t trying to change your perspective on baseer main toh bas apna pov de raha tha lol

Thank you for sharing. The topic is indeed sensitive and important to address.. Perhaps it could be difficult to do that in the show.. I don't know, but homosexuality is not that much discussed on mainstream Indian TV I think.. Not sure..

I want to say something, but I need to give a disclaimer first.. I do not know how this will come across but I do take the topic homosexuality or homophobia very seriously.. I believe in my heart and soul we should be allowed to live our best life and love who we please to and feel most comfortable with.. So what I will say next is not to downsize the topic or be naive about it..

See, when I am with my friends, specifically guy friends, they do tend to joke around or even complain / gossip.. In fun or frustration they would say words in my language that would refer to homosexuals.. The meaning of the word changes with the context.. These friends are not anti gay rights etc.. They don't care much about that all.. But it is sort of the accepted culture, or way of speaking, that makes these guys use those words.. Only when someone like their gfs will say something they respond oh yeah you know what I mean..

So, they use those words to offend or make fun of the other but they are not bashers or anti gays. You know what I mean to say?

Is it correct then? No.. It's not.. But it's such automatic way of using language that you know and have heard your whole life.. Changing it will be difficult.. Very difficult.. But that is why it is good that we speak about it.. Recognize it, call each other out on it in a respectful way.. Only then slowly slowly things could change.. Baby steps..

So.. That is why I say, let Bajaj and others be bashed and made aware of this behaviour and usage of such language.. Their fans and well wishers could be their fans who connected with them initially.. When you are a celebrity, you are on tv, such a big platform.. Then you should behave, be conscious and be a good example for your fans..

What to tell your friends? Just tell them that you at least support them and do not support such behavior and such language..

I’m not normalizing it - it is normal already. And not all profanities are used to insult someone some are used to express frustration at oneself. Society is made worse by gaalis, I think a lot worse things are happening in our society.

Farhana was joking with him infront of everyone, and this was proven when he was speechless and she confronted him about it. Making fake narratives doesn’t excuse or change the fact that Bajaj is a homophobe. That is a verifiable fact as of this episode
