Narayani dubs for India Calling

They asked me, I agreed

However, Narayani has dubbed for the part for free. Producer Shrishti Behl Arya says "It was really sweet of Narayani to dub for Manisha's voice. She gave us the exact toning that we required for Manisha's character."

Voice modulation

It was not a very difficult decision for Narayani to make, the actress says, "They asked me to do it, and I agreed. It was as simple as that. Besides I had met Shrishti at a couple of parties and developed a personal relation with her. So it was out of that equation, I decided to work on the show."

Narayani says she had to undergo voice modulation, "Since Manisha has no face, the voice has to do all the talking. It was an interesting experience, something different from what I do every day."

No more soaps

Apart from this Shastri isn't too keen on taking another daily soap. "Dealing with one show itself is quite some task, there's no way I want to get involved with another daily soap."

In fact, the actress now wants to concentrate on her singing and dancing. "I don't want to claim about being a professional artist, but yes I want to get vocally trained. I also want to get back to dancing, something I have wanted to do for a long time."
