My comment on this thread is one of the firsts. I just expressed that her comment is not what it superficially seems like. In fact it is more of an indirect stance on Kalki issue and less for King. She is shooting an arrow and also trying to not jump into murky water. That's passive aggression for me. Also, her getting along with Shahrukh is not a guarantee of her getting along with others. Shahrukh is not some gold standard, he himself didn't get along with many. All standalone facts.

And this is not an do or die level exam that I have to include every single related point in a message. You aren't my tuition teacher to school me on inclusion of certain points and exclusion of others. If she wants to defend herself, she doesn't need my permission or your support. She could very well be getting bullied or could be trying to arm twist. But, if you care so much you can check Vanga saga & I was on her side.

Yes. You are right. And I never said or hinted that she shouldn't. There are two parties, one put forth their side loud, clear and very direct. Other chose to ignore on the exterior and took an indirect jibe to defend herself. I spoke about the manner, not on her right to defend.

Tollywood media is not asaggressive as they were during Vanga time.They have toned down a lot.They realise that there may be a problem.The actresses who have worked in Tollywood may start making noises.They may not come out openly,like Radhika Apte. But over time they may make a group like the one in Malayalam industry and fight for their rights.

Rival industries might target Telugu industry via media.Strangely Prabhas fans too are less aggressive.They had such a blast during the Vanga episode.

Himesh has already made a PR post for PrabhasIt will be intersting to see,how this proceeds.

no problem. you can have your own opinion. maybe her team told her not to take any name. If this drama escalates more, she might write an open letter or something.

Deepika should release an official statement instead of indirects

As for SRK's support, he can't support himself how will he support her? King is going to be a flop

Has SRK liked or replied to the shameless PR stunt yet? Doubt he will, inka Baap hai woh. He pretty much replies to the smallest Celeb who wishes him.

Don't want to spend too much time on the Cameo Queen but she doesn't have anywhere close to the demands with her Bollywood "Friends" as she did with the South Film-makers. Yes, the vanity vans are still required but her whole entourage doesn't travel with her on overseas shoots or get 5 star accommodation. Neither does she get close to the remuneration she demanded here.

These Bollywood stars have historically looked down upon regional industries and they Only used to do a regional film if they got paid 3x+ their going rate and even then thought they were doing them a huge favor. Deepika is still living in that era. But the telugu industry considers itself on par, if not better than Bollywood today and refuses to be looked down upon or be strong armed. Deepika also figured she had the upper hand it being a sequel which they couldn't make without her.

As for SRK what choice does he have? Anushka is retired, Kat has been busy trying to start a family, Kareena he has some issues with, Alia looks too young, Kangana- door se Namaste, PC not allowed. Just leaves Deepika & Taapsee. Kya kare bechara?
