Welcome to the Chiaroscuro.exe!

Your desktop’s been split in two. One side glows with radiant hope, the other lurks in moody mystery. You and your teammate will be deciding on a common movie/series/character/couple/fandom to work on and then twist it into a signature that screams either light or dark.

But wait, what even is “chiaroscuro”? It’s an artsy term that basically means “light-dark.” Think dramatic lighting, deep shadows, and that one Renaissance painting that looks like it’s lit by a single candle. It’s all about contrast. And now, it’s your aesthetic weapon.

Each duo must focus on the SAME chosen pictures but portray it through opposite emotional lenses one in a light, pastel, dreamy aesthetic (hope, warmth, serenity) and the other in a dark, moody, intense aesthetic (mystery, sorrow, rage)

One of you will create a dark colour aesthetic while the other creates a light colour aesthetic.

Every graphic work must clearly lean into either light or dark aesthetics. No in between.

The signature size should be 500W by 300H pixels.

You may use scenes, characters, couples, or fandom-based images real or fictional.

Your work should not have a copyright or any kind of watermark on it.

Also, I was sachi not laughing at your q being silly It was funny to me that baaki koi ho na ho.. hum dono q lekar taiyyar hai . It would have been more clear if I had added my questions immediately after your post... lekin tab post nahi ho raha tha mera and fir main bhul gai ki wo nahi hua 🤦🏻‍♀️

Wherever you are comfortable I don't have any reservations. Mujhe IF bhi okay hi lagta if the posting time was less. Red cable issue ki wajah se IF has become even more glitchy than usual.

I wouldn't have minded even if you laughed at my question see, we are a duo but we are supposed to work on two different themes, so I was like should we submit one or two, iss ko leke thoda confuse hogayi... Then I realised it's clear to everyone except me so I edited the post.. I wasnt offended lol. Mein hoon thoda slow burn

@b: school se aadat hai whenever the floor opened up for questions, I was ready with one 😭 so jahan bhi jaati hoon, sawal karna nahi chodti

tbh, even before school, Aisa hi thi. Yeh kyun karna hai, woh kyun karni hai my poor mumma...

Kal same post 3 baar type karne ke baad I don't trust IF at all. So discord it is.

Waise, what's the red cable issue? Pehle kuch logo ne kaha jio specific prob hai.. ab ye kuch naya sun rahi hun

I also question a lot Ram milayi jodi hai hamari

Jio specific has been for a long time.. it's also a part and parcel of IF's 2793030 incessant list of glitches

This is the red sea cable issue. Iski wajah se servers located & internet is affected in many parts of Asia.

I'm making a list of fandoms I follow, you can do the same.. fir hum decide karte hai kaunsa pick karna hai. I read that you can mix and match characters from multiple fandoms but personally I would like to stick to one... what do you think?

Haan, mix and match ... Sounds chaotic you know ? Like if the mix and match makes sense or if that's the theme then okay, otherwise I'm not a big fan.

Like I clubbed Hollywood character x K Drama for pyar ka trope fest contest. That was interesting.

Desi or international? Woh bhi decide karenge na ?
