The only thing that makes sense is that they wanted to show Mihir Tulsi comparatively younger than what they were when the show wrapped up last time around. Given that Karan and his siblings were all in their late 40s to mid 50s at the time, Mihir Tulsi ought to have been in their late 70s or early 80s then.

Ekta could have easily kept the drama alive by showing Tulsi as Baa 2.0, a stronger matriarch than the OG Baa, but dealing with all sorts of challenges. Parth’s return to the family, him finding his own place and developing his own equation with everyone while his half-siblings and cousins all had their own problems and drama, Tulsi in the middle of it all trying to keep her family together while watching Mihir wasting away in front of her would have been such a fabulous show.

I watched Queen Charlotte on Netflix, a spinoff of the Bridgertons not too long ago and I loved it. Yes, the show is set in a world that imagines a more racially diverse and accepting British society nearly 250 years ago from now, but QC was elevated simply because of the performances and a gripping storyline. A literal queen has to handle a whole kingdom, ensure her family has an heir all the while as she deals with her husband, literally wasting away in front of her. The miniseries had only 6 episodes but the very last scene makes you bawl because of its sheer beauty. You see why Charlotte becomes the way she does, and also why, despite it all, she sticks around.

It would have been an absolute brilliant ode to show Mihir Tulsi like that but alas… Indian TV industry has taken some sort of a vow - they’ll continue sucking. God alone knows when this curse will break, we only know Ekta is the one who cast it in the first place all those years ago.

Raha baat parth ka toh ..yes agar Bhumi Manthan ke childhood se agar track continue hua hai toh obviously Parth could brought ..but not according to ending of last S1

..by last season parth's age would have 40 around..

Aap agar Netflix ke show se ITV ke show ka spin off expect kare it would be damn complicated..

Shukar manao ki abhi tak kyunki2 reboot ..mein plastic surgery, humshakal track aur kali pahadi track shuru nahi hua..

We are only about a month in, so I’m not really gonna rule those out yet 😂 😂 😂

TBH, I don’t think Parth would’ve been 40 because he is younger than Bhoomi and probably around the same age as Manthan given that we know both Tanya and Nandini were pregnant around the same time. Manthan is obviously older even if by only a couple of months as Nandini wakes up the same day that Tanya learns she’s pregnant.

But it’s absolutely possible that they might have cast an actor who looks older than all his siblings for sure 😂 after all, these people have a proven track record of casting Akashdeep Saigal who looked older than Smriti as her son!

Last season mein parth ka bas haath dikhaya tha...uss haath ke hisaab se he was 25 lag raha tha may be...uss hisab se bola kyunki last season mein last leap mein already 20 yrs ka leap tha...

Honestly speaking yeh leap hi sabse bada barrier raha timeline ke hisaab se...agar Last leap hota hi nahi toh Bhumi, Manthan aur bhi bacche bade hote hi nahi simply... they would have ended in 2005/06.. and parth now could be easily put up with Pari, Angad and Ritik

Timing is the most difficult thing about this season for sure. Mihir Tulsi are supposed to be married for 38 years, Gautam at best is supposed to be 37 years and all the other kids of his generation are obviously younger than him. But I am not even sure how they’ll explain even a 20 year old Parth if Karan is supposed to be say, 35/6 years old to remain consistent with the timeline set here and remain younger than Gautam. Because it would imply Karan married and fathered Parth when he was himself a teenager! 😂

This, Kahaani, Kasauti, and Kaahin Kissii Roz were among the shows I grew up watching. They had such a big opportunity with this show and they squandered it. It's the same trash as most shows. So very disgusted and disappointed. Especially considering I was really looking forward to it and was hoping Ekta would finally make a powerful move with this show and change TV's style again for the better. 🤮 It's worse than what I thought it could be if it were bad lol

I was fairly skeptical about the reboot from day one, but when the news of the original cast members being retained was announced I wondered if Ekta learned something from the debacle that was KZK reboot and decided to make a safe bet. Guess not. Because this show sucks just as much and is probably more expensive to make because of the sheer fees of the cast members, all of whom are veterans now and especially Smriti. Hopefully they stick to the show being a limited series news that came out at the same time.

Wouldn’t mind if they end it sooner too since it sucks.
