The source I have, gives a budget of 60 cr... The movie certainly will cross the 60 cr ww but it won't reach an India net collection sufficient for a hit-tag. Even a globally gross collection has to be much more than 60 cr when the overseas gross collection is less than 1/3 of the India gross. However, it seems to me that the movie is quite well received overseas.

I guess that, too... it's not very comfortable to watch an actress who often acts like she wants to tell the audience "Look, I can act!"... it wouldn't be the first movie her kind of acting hinders to connect to the character. The only movie I could relate to the character she played was the OTT-movie with Varun (Nitesh Tiwari's Bawaal).

Saw it

It felt sort of a weird movie... As if it had all the ingredients for a good movie but the recipe went all wrong..... Like theoretically it ticks all the boxes i like in the movie but somehow it kept stumbling...

.....had it been just 10% better in every department, it would have been a good time pass movie.... I just left with a very dissatisfied feeling.... For me more than the acting, the writing and direction was the biggest letdown.. It felt as if they had the right idea but they faltered in the execution...

I can relate to your dissatisfaction...

bold: my impression, too. (unfortunately, the flaws in the execution - writing/directing - seems to be something accumulating lately in Commercial/Mainstream Cinema)
