For me the beauty (and tragedy) of it—Prarthana’s silence is not random weakness, it’s a mirror held up to Shivansh himself.

Think about it: for the longest time Shivansh kept love locked inside him. He believed he didn’t deserve it, that letting anyone too close would only end in abandonment. Even when his heart screamed for Prarthana, he pushed her away with anger, with control, with coldness—because that was easier than confessing vulnerability.

Now Prarthana is doing the same thing, just in her own way. She loves him fiercely, but instead of saying it, she hides behind lies and silence. Why? Because deep down she believes the moment she speaks against Bua Maa, or admits her love outright, she might lose him forever.

So here’s the irony:

Shivansh once hurt Prarthana by holding back his heart.

Now Prarthana is hurting Shivansh by holding back her truth.

Both are guilty of the same fear: if I reveal the fullness of my love, it might destroy everything.

That’s why this isn’t about her being “dumb” at all. This is the writers showing us that these two are mirrors—both broken in similar ways, both terrified of rejection, both hiding behind walls. The difference is, Shivansh has started breaking his walls for her. And when Prarthana finally gathers the courage to do the same, that’s when their love will truly become unshakable.

💡 In a way, her silence is the last piece of the puzzle. Just like Shivansh had to choose vulnerability, Prarthana will have to choose trust. Until then, their angst is painful—but it’s also beautifully symmetrical...

But the sad part is they are touching such a poignant, emotionally rich part of the story and character with such lazy, shallow and nonsense track....and executing it so badly that it is actually a disservice to Prarthana 's character

I blame the writing more than anything. It way cv’s have written it. They could have written it a lot better then way they are showing it.

It’s her insecurities and in past when she learned Parikh’s are not her parents she said what I have was never mine and what was mine was taken away .

Prarthana always yearned to have someone to call her own.

When Sonalika entered or whenever she was told to leave they could have shown her insecurities of not having anyone to call her own. Instead of showing her fall heads over heels in love with Shivansh. If you watch initial few episodes Prarthana was mostly practical.

I don’t believe this tellywood_xyz at all.
and Ekta has moved her shows around before for Sonytv. Like Appnapan use to air at 9:30 then at 10:30 then I think they moved it to 6 pm.

there was a time prime shows use start coming on air at 6:30 PM to 10:30 Pm as per a friend. but now people do not get home or even turn on tv before 8 PM.
I am not sure as I don’t live in India.

Yesterday Shivansh 's lines.

Those lines… uff, it’s one of those raw, vulnerable Shivansh moments where his words are poetry, but underneath them is pure fear and ache. Let me break it down emotionally:

When Shivansh says:

“Kahin aisa na ho ki tum mujhe awaaz do… Aur main tum tak laut na paou,”

he’s confessing his deepest dread—that Prarthana’s silence, her distance, might reach a point where even if she calls him back, he will have drifted so far into pain and despair that he won’t be able to return to her. It’s his way of admitting how fragile he feels in this love. He’s not invincible; his heart has limits, and if she keeps pushing him away, he fears losing the strength to keep holding on.

“Woh samundar mat bano jisme main doob jao aur kinaara tak na pahuch paou…”

Here, he’s describing her silence, her half-truths, her distance as a deep ocean—vast, overwhelming, capable of drowning him. Shivansh, who has already spent his life drowning in abandonment, cannot survive losing her too. This is him pleading: don’t become another abyss in my life, Prarthana. Don’t become another wound.

“Woh samundar bano jo mujhe khud kinaare tak le jaye…”

This is the most powerful part. Shivansh is asking her to be his safe haven, his guide, his anchor. To not just hold back the storms but to lead him to the shore. He doesn’t just want her love passively—he needs her to actively carry him, rescue him from the darkness of his own fears, his trauma, his loneliness.

It’s a plea, but also a confession of what Prarthana truly means to him. For a man like Shivansh, who spent years thinking he didn’t deserve love or belonging, to say this is monumental. He’s essentially surrendering his soul in her hands: “Don’t be the silence that drowns me, be the love that saves me.” 💔✨

After such a raw, vulnerable, gut-wrenching, heart shatterring lines from Shivansh,they gave Prarthana such nonsense lines

Why cannot Prarthana tell him yes I am not here for alimony but I am here for you and only you. Also I want to show you the truth that you might not believe if I tell you so I am hesitant to tell you. But I want to show it to you.

After Prarthana exposes BM, will she kick out BM and her favorite from Shivansh’s life or she will take him to Smita’s house?
