As far as I know... there's no such rule.

Bappa is supposed to be most lenient Gods if anything

In Marathi households we have what is called as Kulachaar!!!! Its for Ganpati, Gauri/Mahalaxmi (which is for 3 days starting this Monday), and Navratri.

One branch of the family (often the oldest branch) has these ritualistic celebrations where everyone from the extended family (all branches) join the festivities. Other families can have their own bappa but it wont have that kind of importance... its also to do with some heirloom objects/customs passed down from generations.. and therefore one who has the main Bappa is supposed to follow it to the tee. Others can have relaxed rituals.

I have performed this pooja once (unmarried female) since my father was away and brothers/cousins were too young or occupied.

Edit: as far as I know... welcome Aarti can be performed by anyone... male/female, unmarried/married and even widows. Other females cant apply sindoor on the widows though.

So Mannat and Vikrant did not do anything wrong with the aarti and pooja

See we dont know much. But I assume the actual pooja was done by the Pandit himself.

Everyone just did Aarti. Couples did it together. Raveena Shruti and Puneet did alone... Malla wanted to do with Vik... but for him she is no longer his wife... and he wants Mannat to be his wife.. so he got her there.

Ritual nahi hai Aarti... that was done by Pandit. Aarti is like Veneration... I dont suppose there could be a English word for this.

This Aarti is like ones we do for welcoming guests, warriors, winners etc... there need not be a formal relationship between the two.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong and have different opinion.

The era of good shows have gone long back when private channels entered and TV became a business game thanks to Ekta. One Kyunki spoiled the entire ITV viewing and we call it as nostalgia.

Consider drama as game and move ahead. Writing falters after every 50 episodes of the shows run. That's why most of us love to see finite series. Unfortunately for me OTT doesn't add to my entertainment just because of abusive languages and ....x every second scene.

I fall for actors and romance. What clicked to me with Mannat was the above. And Adnan Ayesha with their effervescent chemistry made it more adorable. As I mentioned earlier too I keep my brains behind while watching the show now. I see Adnan Ayesha and smile looking at them on my screen while enjoying their chemistry, whether for a whole scene or them standing close or apart.

Resham this sums up everything for me. Bold this should be engraved somewhere in every forum honestly 😆

I love the show for ayesha, Adnan and will watch them as long as I can and participate here for fun 🤩

Baaki delayed episodes could be due to Ayesha having to take off due to ill health since it was mentioned shooting was stalled.

I think Aarti we can do with anyone. I do with my kid when Husband is away for work. Generally couples do together but IDT there is rule as such. We do it individually also right?

Seeing all the discussions above I just want to say - it's no point in dissecting the characters, yes opinion matters and that's what we are writing here, but knowing ITV and its flair for nonsense, unjust and illogical dramas our theories and sane practical minds go down the drain.

Many of us are those who have survived the worst of ITV starting from Ekta stable, to Sasural Simar Ka and Gopi Bahu. Whichever channel the show aired, same pattern of FL portrayed as a superwoman, abla naari and a goat for verbal and physical abuse.

Never understood who is the audience who watches this but there is an audience here who have been going through this somewhere in the corners of our states and so they watch it. Secondly as we know sometimes the TV is on due to plain habit. The era of good shows have gone long back when private channels entered and TV became a business game thanks to Ekta. One Kyunki spoiled the entire ITV viewing and we call it as nostalgia.

I agree with you 100 percent !

For drama and all they do what they want to and need to and atleast it’s still the best out there in itv..

And yes I am watching for Manvik and Adnan ..like touchwood..Adnan for me literally lights up the entire show with his mere 5 minutes presence ..that’s enough for me

Seriously this TRP gimmick is beyond my understanding. Naagin, Dayan and Saas Bahu drama get high TRPs. I just don’t understand how can people watch these kind of shows. Once my kid watched the roast video of Gopi and was like she really washed Laptop Mumma? How can she do that ? Seriously where is the logic and common sense?😜. And that was the highest rated show at that time on ITV😡.

True while watching TV have to throw logic and sense outside then only you will be able to watch.

Same I am here for Adnan. I liked his pairing with Ayesha. Never seen her earlier work but I really like her in Mannat.

I am also here for them as long as they are on our screens entertaining us🤞🧿

Today I thought I have a time so will be able to watch episode but it got delayed 😢.

When I don’t have time it gets uploaded very early😜

Are they delay these episodes to keep at least 12-15 hour gap between episodes.

Kal it came around evening... so aaj bhi uske aas pass aayega... till they set it on time again.

Haan na... same...

Pooja ke liye hai... jisko hum yajman bolte hai... Aarti ke liye koi aisa rule mujhe to nahi pata. Thats why I said widows do it too.

Jinko sab kuch disallowed hai if they can do it... I suppose everyone can do it.
