Vikrant did question why Malla didnt stop him that night and she said because she loves him. She didnt accuse him of assault, but she consented, with him imagining her as Mannat. Shalini kind of answered why Vikrant didnt doubt Malla's word about the act, because no women would lie about such thing. We know ARS and Malla dont even have humanity, but not Vikrant.

Although it was unexpected of Malla, but her plan was smart. She didnt blame him in front of the family, but said they got carried away, putting both in responsibility. Then, she freed him of the responsibility and declined marriage.

Vikrant too refused marriage and thinks they both know marriage would be wrong step. Although he married Malla because of his parents threat, he is taking responsibility of his decision. He thinks if he had denied to marry her, Malla would not be insecure as a wife and cause her to turn bad.

Vikrant didnt discussed with Malla about how their life after marriage would be before the marriage. Malla might have got married with the hope they would be husband-wife, but he dashed her hope and even told her she doesnt love him. How can he decide whether Malla loves him or not? Later even questioned her for doing vrat and told her she should not have done it, when its actually her right as a wife. Again, we know the truth, but not Vikrant.

I would like to point out why people like me are frustrated with Vikrants writing...

1. He used to be on alert mode when Mannat would be in danger. Thats how he was named BDB by Mannat. These days even after knowing Mannat is in danger or seeing her in danger, Vik just goes away. Case in point Mezbani attack. In spite of seeing visible signs of a mess, he went away.

2. Even after Mannat comes alive from an attack... no case is filed. No investigation is ever done. And I blame Ronnie Gagan equally. There was Shalinis attack in Mezbani and then an assault on Mannat. How are the men so casual about their own enterprise... especially Vik as owner and one who is supposed to be Mannats protector???

3. The undue belief and faith in Malla being a good girl... insecurity does not mean you would end up poisoning innocent kids who have absolutely nothing to do with you. Mannat refused to file a case... why cant Vik do it if he repeatedly says Malla is a criminal? He has not even thought about other situations where Mannat was targeted but no question if Malla was behind it... or who was behind it

4. Being too casual about Neetu and her potty mouth. Sure he shuts her down, but always consoles... Neetu is not going to understand yes... but then Vik has to take some effort to patchup Neetu Mannat... no one else is going to do it for him...

5. Proofs... I love the fact that Vikrant wants proofs... and doesnt trust anything... but this is only for Mannat... for everyone else he believes without proof... never asks them for it... this bias was discussed multiple times about whether its due to class difference or work status... boss employee... this upcoming situation will be Vikrants test if he can trust Mannat... since both have declared their feelings.

A disclaimer .... I love Vikrant and ManVik ... but I find the writers repeatedly treat him unfairly to keep the story dragging ... he gets importance only in the end when they want him to blast everyone on behalf of Mannat... but as I said... that only happens after point no 5...

I dont recall any incident where Vik trusted Mannat without proof... Neetu poisoning wala trust is known only to Malla... not Mannat nor Neetu.

Theres one particular aspect of the ONS I would like to mention and why Vik shouldn't be in guilt...

Malla consented and got carried away... fair enough.

But Vik was not in his senses... he doesnt even remember it. Moreover he was imagining Mannat. Malla told him that.

Malla still went ahead and let him do it (as per her).

This fact is known only to the two of them. No one knows of this conversation. Not even Mannat.

Sorry to be crude but Vikrants consent for s@x was with Mannat and not Malla. Malla took advantage of his inebriated state and trapped him. The s@x didnt happen... we know but even if he had been... it was an assault.

She willingly went ahead and considered only her wish.

This is the point Vik is missing. He is not to be blamed. Malla is equal partner if not more. The act might be equal but the consent was one sided.

And this is also why Mannats proof wont make a difference... it can only tell him he didnt do anything... but Mallas goody and bechari facade wont drop for him unless he thinks over this. Vik shouldnt need any proof or truth for this 😕

This is not crude , this is the truth and Vikrant should bring this out in open in front of SM. What is so shameful when Malla herself walked out in that condition intentionally. I never understood why he wouldn't bring this out even at the cost of him being blackmailed into this wedding. This is not goodness 🙂‍↔️

The communication between Mannat and Vikrant in the show needs to be much more serious and effective. These issues like attacks, threats, and manipulations must be addressed openly. This is how the new generation works isn't it ? talk things through, share the load. Why keep one in the dark while the other suffers? #ManVik fans need to see them truly functioning as a team, not just reacting at the end ..

Yes we love Vikrant / Mannat and #Manvik and no shame in accepting that we still want their romance :)

I agree completely. I absolutely love Vikrant but the writers are not treating him fairly. (It is only Adnan who is maintaining that balance, honestly)

Yesterday when Mannat remembered her BDB, I got so nostalgic. Maybe the writers have forgotten, on the sea front, he didn't know it was Mannat, he saw someone being distraught and sent that boy to lift up her spirits. That was Vikrant. Such a happy soul, and noticing everyone's sadness.

In fact, i feel the story is getting stagnant because of Malla's marriage and ONS story. After the poisoning which is a serious crime, he should be alert about any mishap that happens.

As for the ONS, I agree Malla played it smartly, but the one question is why did she go ahead when she knew he was intoxicated? Because she loved him, is not reason enough. And that at least, Vikrant can question now. At least he can tell her, he has questions about her behaviour too, but because he is decent, he will not bring it up. Show him having doubts on her

Mannat has to tell him. But if we remember, Malla smartly asked to her to reveal when the sleeping dose reveal happened? In fact, she dared her to, saying that now Vikrant will believe anything Mannat says so tell him whatever you want. Even now, that's how it will seem, Mannat is saying this about Malla because it's an open secret that mannat and Vikrant want to be together.

Fact is, the whole premise being no woman would lie about something like this...an assault or otherwise, the proof can be given only by the 'victim'. If Malla claims, she could not control Vikrant, it automatically becomes a case of assault, whether Vikrant was conscious or not!!
