Finally got a chance to watch the episodes since the big heartbreak! And honestly apart from that one episode, every episode has been light and done so beautifully. There are way too many plot holes and the plot itself is comical at times but I feel like that adds to the charm of the show. Nothing should be taken too seriously basically. Appa has had so many dhoka since now by all his children! And yet has not had any heart issues it seems. Bhagya's double standard is also kind of insane that she just forgave nikhil now that she has no feelings for him. Only sensible people in that family are Revati and Amma.
Rishab came on a little strong in the beginning, but I kind of understand. Imagine having no contact with someone you love, even them being angry with you is better than having no contact. After talking to Amma he agreed to keep his feelings to himself, or at least try to I guess. Appa and Bhagya are both on the same track to show rishab that he means nothing to them. It's kind of funny how similar father and daughter think. But appa's ego is going to be the final boss. Rishab is more than ready to deal with all of their insults, but can't bear to see Bhagya so upset. Blackout episode was well done, but I kind of wished it was longer and Rishab had taken the opportunity to talk to Bhagya like he talked to Amma.
Revati Purab relationship, I wish we got more of it. But I am guessing they had to cut a lot of the plot for the early deadline. I loved Rishab and Purab bond too. The last episode when both the brothers were pacing worried about their own love was soo cute. Revati fainted and Rishab was just thinking about Bhagya not looking happy in her engagement. On the other end, Purab is just concerned about Revati and annoyed that rishab is going to mess up things for him.
The undercurrent of deep emotions is also there along with all the comedy..this show really could have been great with better execution, and bigger budget. As for Rishab, I don't know how he is bearing all of this while keeping things so light. I mean his life has been insane, and even now, despite having everything, he is willing putting himself through all of this hate, with very little in terms of support system except his little brother and maybe his dad. I know people will say he deserves it and all, but it's like people forget that ML also have feelings and should be treated atleast like a human being, no matter how much you hate them. Meanwhile I feel like Bhagya is in this weird pattern where she is just picking any easy way out of situations and then not understanding the ramifications of lying until it's too late.
