The last day of the IIFAs were all about clothes, make up and booking your taxis to get to the venue. By 4 pm Bangkok time there wasn't a single taxi that was available because fans, audiences and stars had booked them all up! But while the stars got ready with their make up and clothes we went about backstage to find you the real mazaa

Not so mast now

Urmila Matondkar was co-host of the night along with Ritieish Deshmukh and Boman Irani. And while the men had the audience in splits, Urmila made us cringe with her bad pronunciation and faux pas in reading the auto cue. And at one point when the prompter stopped, the actress just stood there unable to adlib or fill the deafening silence in the auditorium. It's one of those days, was all she could say!

Stylish in love

Abhishek Bachchan collected IIFA style icon award with his wife giggling away in the seats. Was that her way of saying he didn't deserve it? Anyways… after collecting the award the actor was asked to go and address the media who were waiting backstage. But of course how could Bunty go without his Babli… oops we mean Ash! And so she promptly jumped up from her seat, took his hand and walked in with him to the media room!

Dia ye kya kiya?

Dia was one of the performers of the night. Starting out she looked super hot in her all black get up. But then 60 seconds into her act, the music started scratching and suddenly the beats of Love Story 2050 began to play. The organizers obviously realized the error and quickly got the music to fade and for her to stop only to begin a few minutes later all over again… as this was being recorded for the telly too. And while Urmila was at her flustered best she didn't think of informing the audience the act was being re-started! And so Dia came back on stage and this time she missed her hat which she had on in her first take!

Nick of time

Looks Saif took his Salaam Namaste character quite closely. He arrived when almost the entire award ceremony was done. The actor made his way with just half an hour to go. Literally jumping out his taxi he ran up the venue to get to the main ceremony!

Not so safe

And if we speak about Saif, how can we forget his lady love Bebo. The actress who gave a brilliant performance was on her way back to the hotel earlier in the day from rehearsals. In a hurry to get back and get ready, the actress was hopping mad that her driver seemed to have lost his way back to the hotel and got them stuck in traffic. So off she jumped outta the car and into a local rickshaw to make her way to the hotel!
