I agree the writers are dealing in a fairly sensitive way
But society norms are still as seen, Vik very openly showing his affection and ‘chasing Mannu’ albeit very appropriately….. while Mannu so hesitant and reproaching him on ‘what will people say’.
Absolutely love the writers for questioning societal norms and writing them off 
Society doesn't care for ManVik or anyone, they just care for gossip and love to do moral policing while staying silent when so called "wife as per society" tries to kill kids ( Neetu, Keerat, Raveena, ARS, Gagan (yes sadly Gagan too 😭)) , assault her "husband" ( ARS and I am sure Keerat, Raveena would support this like some online viewers ) .
At the end of this track I am hoping the writers really show all these societal norms being broken down by ManVik 😍❤️
