Don't worry I won't make you gamble. But it's time to test your luck with a new and unique game. Today I bring to you a game called Bluff Master!
Curious what this is. Well let's just say it's Family Feud with cheating! And you have to catch the cheat, aka Bluff Master, while the Bluff Master has to stay safe until the end!
Basically what will happen is 5 of you will play together. One of you, randomly, will get the answers to the 6 questions I will be asking during the slot. That person will be the Bluff Master and only I will know who they are. Each slot will consist of 4 "rounds". Each question will have 10 answers and the answers will range in points from 10 to 100 (most popular/well known to least popular/well known).
In the first "round", I will ask 1 question and I will tag who answers. The order will change with each question. As you get named, you have to give an answer. Your answer may or may not be on the board. If it isn't on the board, then you don't get any points, else you get the points associated with the question. After that "round", I will ask each person to name who they think the Bluff Master is. The person that gets the most votes, will be eliminated and their points will be reset to 0. If the person eliminated is the Bluff Master, then a new Bluff Master will be chosen from the remaining people. If the person eliminated is not the Bluff Master, then everyone's points get halved.
In the second "round", I will again ask 1 question and each person will give me 1 answer in the order I call their name. Then once again people will name who they think the Bluff Master is.
In the third "round", you will get 2 questions and each person will give 2 answers, but not together. You will give 1 answer and then when I call your name again, you will give your second answer. In this round, I will run a random draw and eliminate one of the 3 people. This is to mimic an audience eliminating a player who they think could be the Bluff Master.
For the fourth and final "round" of the slot, the 2 remaining people will once again get 2 questions with 2 answers to each. For this round, the eliminated participants will name who they think the Bluff Master is. If they are right, then the Bluff Master's points will be reset to 0 and the eliminated participants who named the right person will get a bonus 100 points each. If they are wrong, then the final honest player will be eliminated, but their points won't be reset to 0. However, the Bluff Master will get a bonus 100 points.
This game will be played competition style. First we will have Knockout Games. Then the Semi-Finales and finally the Finale.
For the Knockout Games, the winner of each slot will definitely continue through. The winner is the person who remains "standing" at the end whether they have the most points or not. The other players will be stacked up against each other and the top scorers will go through so that I get 20 players for the Semi-Finale.
In the Semi-Finale, again the winner of each slot will definitely continue through. Then the other players will be stacked up against each other and the top scorers will go through so that I have 10 players for the Finale.
In the Finale, only the winners of the games will be stacked against each other to see who the winner is and who the runner-up is.
I will give you slots for both Discord and IF. The slots will be clearly marked if it is for Discord or IF. Choose your slot and venue, but it will be first come first serve.
Each slot will have 5 people. If I end up with less than 5 players in a slot, then I will ask the other participants if they can play as a proxy in a slot. The points they win or lose that slot will not count for them. I reserve the right to choose who will be the proxy if I get multiple volunteers. This will not be first come first serve.
For each question, I will randomly select who will respond. The order will not be the same each question. So please wait for me to either name you on Discord or to tag you on IF.
You can only give 1 answer at a time for each question. If you give me a list, I will ignore it and give you 0 for that question. Simple as that. Don't try to cheat the system by giving me 5 answers and asking me to take one.
The questions asked will not be fact-based but just questions where I chose responses based on Google searches and then I ranked them based on what I saw the most to the least.
The points will be reset after the Knockout Games finish. Thus, if you continue through the Semi-Finale, then you will start with a fresh slate. Similarly, the points will be reset after the Semi-Finale Games, so that you start fresh with the Finale Games.
I reserve the right to reject your sign-up for the game.
