He called Maharashtrian food as 'gareebon ka khana'. He wasn't just making fun of poor people, he was insulting food. In Hinduism, we call food as Purna Brahma. And he is defending the very same Hindu people by opposing Taimur name

And what's 'gareebon ka khana'?? He doesn't like it, then don't eat it. Why mock it? It is such tone deaf comment. 
And from all my Maharashtra street food or proper restraurant experience so far through Nagpur, Mumbai and Goa, I cant figure out which one exactly would be in the 2nd category. I find maharashtra food heavenly 
and based on recommendation next year keen to try ‘dhopyachya panachi wadi bhaji’ this dish in Pune.
