I can't write a detail review like you par this could've been a better read🫠

Honestly, as Hades and Persephone retelling I was expecting mytho stuff par after the realization ki yeh kuch khaas retelling nahi hai, I expected some fantasy quests par aisa kuch tha nahi

Kaafi predictable plot for a romantasy book, itne slow burn aur tension ke baad jaisa follow up I would've liked waisa mila nahi, Sometimes it felt ki the scenes are just placed kyunki first half mein kuch khaas tha nahi

Wren ko toh mujhe maarne ka man ho raha tha beech beech mein, her relationship with her sister, again predictable and with FK/NW/B (Itne naam kyun agar koi backatory explore mahi ki jaa rahi hai?) overall confusing except for some good scenes

Overall, the characters had potential par I found the plot underdeveloped, fantasy part toh naam matra tha🥹

I don't think I would be completing this series any sooner, kyunki this had to be one of those handful books jinko khatam karne mein mera reading mood bhi khatam hone laga

I agree they didn’t develop the fanstay world nor the mythological bg of NW , Wren ki usual poor orphan girl story pe hi khafi dhyaan diya , initially I gave author benefit of doubt thinking ki maybe she wants to explore it in later books ( but now that I’ve completed the whole book mujhe waise kuch khas suspense build up kiya hua laga nahi ) Nothing to make me excited about the next book

Wren was annoying at times agreed, especially whenever Wren -Elora drama came up I found myself getting annoyed by both of them

Tbh I didn’t like the ending of this book at all , felt like I read one of those generic wattpad book’s epilogue (IT GAVE ME NOTHING )

Itna looong story ke baad they just rushed everything in the end .

Pehle toh maine notes mein likha tha ki why not go with Hades and Persephone agar retelling hai, zyaada feel aata par jaise jaise I went ahead it felt wrong to call this a retelling of them

The plot had potential but author didn’t explore it well.
