before I forget, I think Coolmeg mentioned (forgive me if it was someone else) that it’s not evident when Anirudh knew Mannat was his daughter….. was an IF article that he checked at hospitals which didn’t get shown… so we know 25yrs ago he knew Sonia was pregnant with his child….. then he was jailed on her behalf and she disappeared without trace…. he had no knowledge of what happened to mother (wife?) and baby. On leaving he has been searching for Sonia (the open finger wound will be explained soon) and by chance ARS makes contact with him as an investor and contact re-established when he googles her pic. [Curious though she didn’t know it was Ani….. perhaps via company name?]
He went to the chawl to dig for info on what became of SK and baby….. bumps into Uncle who goes on about Shruti (lets assume Ani knows Shruti is Sonia’s sister) and her daughter Mannat, co-incidentally headed to Mezbaani - owned by ARS/SK. Ani gives a lift and sees Malla poisoning and thankfully videos…… meantime in jail pays constable to keep eye on Mannat (at that moment only that she’s Shruit’s daughter and linked to ARS)…… who tells him overheard Mannat saying she in fact ARS’ daughter, when he realises Mannat is in fact his daughter with Sonia…then meets and bails her……..
What is unclear is how does Ani know Mannat loves Vik, and vice versa for Ani to tell ARS in the kidnap fight that Vik won’t stay with her daughter, he’ll be with Mannat??!
Perhaps knowing Vik loves her so much, he’s not putting up a fight while hot head possessive Vik punches him at every meeting so far 🙁🥺! And as Ani now knows ARS (& Malla’s ) true motive, knows Mannat is in danger so comes to save her and try to convince her to listen to him.
looks like either a lot was edited on the chopping block or they will answer these in the upcoming episodes . They could show he was searching for Sonia and Mannat and stumbled upon their conversation in the hospital on the night of liver donation
